Embark on an unforgettable 10-day journey through Myanmar, where you’ll explore the vibrant city of Rangoon, the ancient temples of Bagan, and the cultural heart of Mandalay. Experience the breathtaking landscapes of Heho and the serene beauty of Inle Lake, home to unique floating gardens and traditional stilt houses. This tour offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural wonders, providing an immersive insight into the enchanting spirit of Myanmar.
Upon your arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Later in the afternoon, we'll take you to explore the stunning Shwedagon Pagoda. You’ll be captivated by the changing colors of the complex as daylight transitions to dusk, giving way to the enchanting reflections at night. To end the day, enjoy a delightful welcome dinner accompanied by a dance performance at a quality restaurant.
Today, we begin our exploration at the Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda, followed by a visit to Sule Pagoda. Afterward, we’ll take a leisurely walk through Maha Bandoola Park, where you'll find remarkable colonial architecture, including the High Court and City Hall. Next, immerse yourself in the lively ambiance of Indian Town and Chinatown. We will wrap up our day with a visit to Bogyoke Aung San Market (please note: the market is closed on Mondays).
In the morning, you'll fly to Bagan. Upon your arrival, our local guide will be there to welcome you and take you to your hotel. We’ll first explore the bustling local market in Nyaung U. Then, we’ll visit the impressive Shwezigon Paya and Htilominlo Pahto. Our sightseeing continues at Nat Taung Kyaung (also known as Mya-taung Taik), near Taung-bi village. After visiting the Shwesandaw Pagoda, we'll unwind by enjoying a breathtaking sunset from a boat.
After breakfast, you'll embark on a full-day photography tour in the old Bagan area, visiting Ananda Temple, Thatbyinnyu Temple, Nanpaya Temple, and Manuha Temple. We’ll make a stop at a lacquerware workshop before admiring the stunning mural paintings from the early 13th century at Gubyaukgyi Temple, located near Myinkaba village. Our exploration continues in Myinkaba Village, where you'll observe local life. The day's sightseeing will conclude with a visit to Pyathadar Temple.
In the morning, you’ll take a flight to Mandalay, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel. We’ll start with a visit to Mahagandayon Monastery in Amarapura. Next, we’ll explore the City Harbor Bridge before enjoying a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Following that, we’ll visit the Sagaing Nunnery to gain insight into the lives of the nuns. We’ll then drive up to Sagaing Hill for breathtaking views from the summit. Our day will wrap up with a boat ride on Taungthaman Lake near U Bein Bridge, where you can soak in the scenery and capture stunning photos of the sunset and the bridge.
After breakfast, we'll embark on a delightful one-hour boat ride across the Ayeyarwaddy River to the historic city of Mingun. There, we’ll visit the enormous unfinished Mingun Pagoda, the impressive Mingun Bell, as well as the nearby Settawya Pagoda and Hsinbyume Pagoda.
Following our exploration, we’ll return to Mandalay to visit Mahamuni Pagoda. Our journey continues to Shwenandaw Kyaung (also known as the Golden Palace Monastery), Kuthodaw Pagoda, and Mandalay Hill. From the top of Mandalay Hill, we'll enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the old city as the sun sets.
In the morning, you'll catch a flight to Heho. Once you arrive, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive of approximately one hour to Inle Lake, where you’ll check in to your hotel. Shortly after, we’ll visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the region's most significant and revered temples. Following that, we'll explore a local village to discover their traditional methods of producing silk and ironware. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
A delightful excursion on Inle Lake is planned for the morning. En route to the port, we’ll stop at a local market. The boat ride on the serene waters of Inle Lake is truly enjoyable, where you'll witness the unique techniques local fishermen use to navigate and fish, a distinctive sight in the area. Later, we’ll reach Indein Village, a tranquil haven where you can explore untouched ancient ruins, including stunning pagodas and a forest of historical stupas. You’ll also have the chance to stroll around and observe authentic rural life. Afterward, we’ll return to our hotel, and the afternoon is free for you to explore on your own.
In the morning, we’ll take you to Heho Airport for your flight to Yangon. Upon your arrival, a local driver will be waiting to pick you up and take you to your hotel, where you can unwind for the rest of the day.
