Morning: Between 7:45 and 8:30 am, our guide will pick you up from your hotel. Begin your city tour by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an architectural marvel and the final resting place of Uncle Ho. Adjacent to the Mausoleum, you'll find Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, and nearby stands the One Pillar Pagoda, a significant symbol of Hanoi. Continue your journey to the Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of Vietnam's oldest pagodas, located by the picturesque West Lake. If your tour falls on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Bat Trang pottery village. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon: After lunch, visit the Ethnology Museum (available on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) and explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university established in 1070. Check out of your hotel and store your luggage at the hotel. Departing from Hoi An and crossing the Cua Dai bridge, you will witness the picturesque views of the Hoi An river system, mountains, and Cham islands. Upon arrival at the fishing village, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere as the market traders showcase their evening catch, providing excellent opportunities for captivating photos. At 09:45, you will reach the historical My Son Sanctuary, often referred to as the "Valley of Kings" by French historians. This ancient site served as the capital of the Chăm Pa Kingdom from the 4th to the 15th century. Begin your exploration with a traditional dance performance, followed by a guided walking tour of the Cham ruins. As you ascend along a jungle-bordered track, your guide will enlighten you with the history of this religious site, which served as a burial ground for Cham monarchs centuries ago. At 12:00, commence your return journey to Hoi An and embark on a boat trip along the Thu Bon River. During the approximately two-hour boat ride, you will pass by the Duy Hai fishing village, Tra Nhieu weaving village, Kim Bong carpentry village, and Cam Thanh coconut jungle village. If you're not familiar with cycling, don't worry! We offer scooter ("XE OM") services for an additional fee of 120,000 VND. Begin your day by pedaling to the Cam Thanh Ecological village, where a warm welcome awaits you from a local host. Immerse yourself in the daily life of a farmer as you join them in cultivating wet rice. Engage in various farming activities, including plowing and raking alongside water buffaloes, learning the art of rice transplantation, flooding the fields, and participating in the rice-grinding process. Afterward, our tour guide and van will transport you to a local fishing village. Board a boat and join local fishermen on a Phuoc Hai fishing boat to experience the traditional casting net technique called CHAI. Venture into the water coconut palm jungle, enjoy a ride on a basket boat, and explore the captivating water coconut palm forest. Discover the art of origami with water coconut leaves, creating intricate shapes such as grasshoppers, flowers, rings, caps, and bracelets. Engage in the exciting activity of crab-catching amidst the water coconut palm forest. Later, return to the boat where Captain Cook will prepare a delightful lunch or dinner (depending on the time of your tour). Between 08:00 and 08:30, our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to begin the drive to Cu Chi, located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi is renowned for its role in the anti-American war in Vietnam, and its original tunnel system spanning over 220km has become a popular destination for visitors from both Vietnam and abroad. As you travel through the peaceful rural landscape of rice paddies, you'll witness ducks and water buffalos leisurely swimming in the rivers. It's hard to imagine the devastation caused by bombings and mines during the war, as Cu Chi was once a "Free Target Zone." The remnants you'll see serve as a testament to the fierce battleground that once existed there. You'll even have the opportunity to crawl through the tunnels, although please note that this may not be suitable for individuals who are very overweight or elderly. Embark on a journey to My Tho, a charming town situated on the left bank of the Mekong River. Hop aboard a sampan and cruise along the river, exploring the enchanting Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. Pause at Unicorn Island, where you can stroll along country lanes, admire orchards, savor tropical fruits, and be serenaded by folk songs performed by local artists. Visit a fruit plantation to further indulge your senses. Embark on a hand-rowed sampan ride through Thoi Son canal, immersing yourself in the picturesque countryside. Explore a family-run business, visit a honey-bee farm, and delight in a refreshing cup of honey tea while observing the coconut candy-making process.
