We will then embark on a journey to Cu Chi, located 70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Known as the "area of steel" during the war, Cu Chi is renowned for its extensive network of tunnels, spanning over 200 km. These tunnels served as a resilient underground village during the Vietnam-American war. Upon arrival, you will receive a brief introduction and watch an informative video about the construction and survival techniques employed in the tunnels. Explore the preserved tunnel systems, including living areas, kitchens, storage facilities, weapon factories, hospitals, and command centers. Experience the maze-like tunnels with hidden trap doors and dangerous traps, which were strategically designed for security purposes. Conclude the visit with a serving of special tea and cassava, the guerrilla's food during the war. Arrive at the bustling fishing village, where you can capture captivating photos of the vibrant market. 9:45: Arrive at My Son, also known as the "Valley of Kings," the former capital of the Chăm Pa Kingdom from the 4th to 15th century.
