Itinerary

Day 1 WELCOME TO PHNOM PENH

Welcome to Phnom Penh. After arriving, your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Please note that the standard check-in time is 14:00.

In the afternoon, your tour begins with a visit to the Central Market, a historic site from 1937 built during the French colonial era. Here, you'll find a variety of goods, including jewelry, electronics, clothing, imitation watches and bags, suitcases, both dried and fresh foods, and numerous souvenirs. Next, explore Wat Lanka, one of Phnom Penh's oldest pagodas, which was established as a haven for sacred texts and a gathering place for Cambodian and Sri Lankan monks. Then, visit the Independence Monument, inspired by the central tower of Angkor Wat. Erected in 1958, this monument commemorates Cambodia’s independence from France in 1953 and honors the nation's war dead. Wreaths are placed here on national holidays. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 2 PHNOM PENH

Embark on a discovery tour of Phnom Penh. At 8:00am, your driver and guide will greet you. Start by exploring the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former school turned detention center during the Khmer Rouge era, to gain insights into Cambodia's recent dark history. Next, visit the Choeung Ek Killing Fields, a sobering but essential experience to understand the country’s past.

The afternoon offers a lighter experience with a trip to the Russian Market, the largest market in Cambodia, where you can find everything from carvings and jewelry to clothing and souvenirs. Enjoy a delicious Khmer lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue your afternoon with a visit to Wat Phnom, a picturesque hilltop temple surrounded by manicured gardens. Then, explore the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, renowned for its 5,000 silver tiles and its impressive collection of Buddha statues in gold, silver, crystal, and bronze.

End the day with a serene sunset cruise along the Mekong River before returning to your hotel.

Day 3 PHNOM PENH - DEPARTURE

Enjoy a final stroll or pick up any last-minute souvenirs before checking out at noon. Your driver will be there to help with your luggage and transport you to the airport for your departure flight.

We look forward to your next visit!
