Itinerary

Day 1 WELCOME TO SIEM REAP CAMBODIA!

Welcome to Siem Reap! Upon your arrival, a guide will greet you at the airport and help with your transfer to the hotel for check-in. Please be aware that the standard check-in time is 2:00 PM.

In the afternoon, embark on a Half-Day City Tour. Your first destination is Artisans D'Angkor, a local artisan workshop dedicated to preserving Cambodian arts and crafts. Here, you'll see the creation process of wood and stone carvings, lacquering, gilding, and silk paintings. Next, visit Wat Thmei, one of the memorials for the victims of the Khmer Rouge era, featuring a small stupa that holds the skulls and bones of those who perished between 1975 and 1979. Continue to The Old Market, the oldest Khmer market in Siem Reap, where vendors offer a variety of souvenirs including clothing, jewelry, and more. Finally, you'll be taken to one of the city's most stunning pagodas, known for its French colonial architecture and expansive garden adorned with statues. Bring candles and incense to the pagoda and join a private blessing ceremony conducted by local monks residing at the temple.

Return to your hotel to conclude the day.

Day 2 SIEM REAP

At 8:00 AM, you'll be picked up from your hotel for a day of exploration. Your first stop is the South Gate, where you’ll see impressive statues illustrating the churning of the ocean of milk, followed by a visit to Angkor Thom, the ancient capital established in the late 12th century. From there, we will proceed to Bayon Temple, known for its 54 towers adorned with over 200 serene faces of Avalokitesvara. Next, you'll see Baphuon, an artificial mountain that has recently reopened after extensive restoration.

Following this, you have the option to explore the Royal Enclosure, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then, we will head to the renowned Ta Prohm Temple, built in the late 12th to early 13th centuries and famously featured in the Tomb Raider movie.

Enjoy a Khmer lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we will visit the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat Temple, the most revered temple in Angkor Park and the largest religious monument globally. The temple’s walls are intricately adorned with stone carvings and bas-reliefs. Your guide will share the fascinating stories behind these details and provide ample time for you to explore both the inner and outer areas of the temple.

To cap off your evening in Siem Reap, you'll experience a performance of the Cambodian Traditional Circus. Unlike a typical circus, Phare’s performers blend theater, music, dance, and modern circus arts to present unique Cambodian stories, ranging from historical and folk to contemporary themes. The vibrant energy, emotional depth, and talent of the young circus artists are sure to leave a lasting impression.

Day 3 SIEM REAP-PHNOM PENH

Today, you'll be transferred to either the bus station or airport for your journey to Phnom Penh. Traveling by bus takes around 6 hours, while a flight takes approximately 1 hour.

Upon your arrival in Phnom Penh, our guide will take you to your hotel for check-in. Please remember that the standard check-in time is 2:00 PM.

In the afternoon, we'll visit Wat Phnom, a stunning temple situated on a hill, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. Next, we'll head to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, named for its 5,000 silver tiles that cover the floor. The pagoda is renowned for its impressive collection of Buddha statues made from gold, silver, crystal, and bronze. The day concludes with a relaxing sunset cruise on the Mekong River before dinner.

Dinner will be served at a local restaurant, after which you'll return to your hotel.

Day 4 PHNOM PENH-DEPARTURE
