Itinerary

Day 1 WELCOME TO SIEM REAP

Upon arriving in Siem Reap, you will be warmly greeted by your guide at the airport. They will assist with your transfer to the hotel for check-in, which begins at 14:00.

This afternoon, begin your exploration of Angkor's rich history. Your first stop will be the South Gate, where you’ll encounter the impressive statues representing the churning of the ocean of milk. Then, visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom, established in the late 12th century, followed by a tour of the Bayon Temple, renowned for its 54 towers adorned with over 200 serene faces of Avolokitesvara. Next, explore Baphuon, a temple resembling an artificial mountain, which has recently reopened after extensive restoration. Continue your visit to the Royal Enclosure, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Please note:

Appropriate attire is required in sacred sites and temples, meaning shorts, skirts above the knees, and bare shoulders are not permitted. Additionally, the Top Tower (Level 3) of Angkor Wat is closed on religious Buddhist dates.

Day 2 SIEM REAP

Depart at 08:00am to visit the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat Temple, the most iconic site in Angkor Park and the largest religious monument on the planet. Inside, you'll be captivated by the intricate stone carvings and bas-reliefs that adorn the walls. Your guide will share the fascinating stories depicted in these details, allowing you plenty of time to explore both the inner sanctuaries and the outer courtyards of this majestic temple.

After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, continue your journey to the famous Ta Prohm Temple, known for its mystical atmosphere and as the filming location for the Tomb Raider movie. Next, visit Preah Khan, also known as "The Sacred Sword," a vast monastic complex spanning over 56 hectares, serving as both a monastery and a center for learning. This site is the focus of a meticulous restoration project by the World Monuments Fund, aiming to preserve its enigmatic charm and stunning original architecture. Your final stop is Pre Rup Temple, a late 10th-century structure admired for its bold architectural design. If the weather permits, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset from this vantage point.

Afterward, return to your hotel. Dinner will be at your leisure.

Day 3 SIEM REAP

Your journey through history and culture begins with an 8:30am pickup from your hotel. The morning is dedicated to exploring two prominent temples, Banteay Samre and Banteay Srei. Constructed during the reigns of Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century, Banteay Samre is a Hindu temple designed in the Angkor Wat style. Next, you'll visit Banteay Srei, often regarded as one of Angkor’s most stunning temples. Made primarily of red sandstone, this temple features a unique pink hue and some of the most intricate carvings in the region. After exploring these architectural marvels, take a break and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you’ll head to Tonle Sap Lake to experience the diverse activities of the floating villages, including crocodile farming, fishing operations, traditional medicine shops, boat workshops, spirit houses, floating schools, and more. The day concludes with a visit to Artisans D’ Angkor, a local boutique dedicated to preserving Cambodian arts and crafts. Here, you'll see firsthand how wood and stone carvings, lacquering, gilding, and silk paintings are meticulously crafted. After this enriching experience, return to your hotel.

Day 4 SIEM REAP-DEPARTURE

Enjoy a final stroll or pick up some last-minute souvenirs before your midday checkout. Your driver will be ready to help with your luggage and transport you to the airport for your departure flight.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the future!
