We will begin with a visit to the Silver Pagoda, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The steps of the Pagoda are made of Italian marble, and the interior floor is lined with over 5,000 silver tiles, weighing nearly 6 tons in total. Next, we’ll explore the Royal Palace, constructed by the French in 1866 on the site of the old town. The highlight of the palace complex is the Throne Room, built in 1917 in traditional Khmer architecture, featuring a tiered roof and a 59-meter tower inspired by the Bayon Temple of Angkor Thom. Within the Royal Palace grounds, the Silver Pagoda stands out with its unique design. The steps are crafted from Italian marble, and the floor is covered with more than 5,000 silver tiles, collectively weighing almost 6 tons. Our tour concludes with a visit to Wat Phnom, situated on a man-made hill 27 meters high in the heart of Phnom Penh. The pagoda was originally built in 1372 to house four Buddha statues, believed to have been carried to the site by the waters of the Mekong River. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Spend a full day exploring the renowned Temples of Angkor Archaeological Park. Start your day early at 5:00 am to experience the stunning sunrise at Angkor Wat or Ta Prohm, the latter being the most photographed temple in the Angkor complex. Built in the Bayon style between the late 12th and early 13th centuries, Ta Prohm remains largely untouched by restoration efforts. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, continue your tour with a visit to Angkor Thom, meaning “Great City.” This expansive area of 9 square kilometers is home to several breathtaking monuments. The South Gate serves as the most grand entrance, while the Victory Gate provides access from the east. The East Gate, also known as the Gate of Death, remains in a quiet, less frequented area. The Terrace of the Elephants, stretching 300 meters, features three main platforms and two smaller ones. The Terrace of the Leper King, constructed in the 12th century, is named after a statue of the Leper King located on the terrace’s platform. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Enjoy a leisurely morning with free time at your disposal. In the afternoon, explore one of Siem Reap’s genuine floating villages. Unlike other floating communities, this small village consists of families living in wooden houseboats. The village shifts locations throughout the year in response to the lake's water levels. During the dry season, when the lake’s water is at its lowest, the villagers relocate closer to the shore and engage in agricultural activities on land. A visit to a local home will offer you a deeper insight into life on the lake. Afterward, head back to the port and make your way to the Silk Farm of Artisans d’Angkor, just a 15-minute drive away. This initiative provides opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to enhance their livelihoods by preserving traditional arts and silk production. A local guide will escort you through the farm, explaining the entire process of creating high-quality silk. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Take some time to relax before being transferred to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight.
