Upon your arrival in Hanoi, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver at the airport. Transfer to your centrally located hotel for check-in and enjoy some free time to relax. Commence your early morning adventure with a prompt pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter at 7:40 AM. Embark on a scenic journey to Tam Coc, where you will arrive at approximately 9:30 AM. Board a sampan to gracefully glide along the Ngo Dong River, immersing yourself in the splendor of Tam Coc's three enchanting caves. Afterward, return to Tam Coc wharf, where you'll hop on a bicycle to explore traditional villages and Tam Coc town. As the sun reaches its zenith, indulge in a delectable buffet lunch featuring authentic Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant. Reinvigorated, board the luxurious van for a visit to Hoa Lu, an ancient capital of Vietnam. Delve into history at the Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple, both dating back to the 10th century, and learn about the heroic tales of these two kings during the Chinese Wars. Ascend 500 stone steps to the captivating Mua Cave, renowned for its intriguing stories. From its peak, revel in the breathtaking panoramic vista of the countryside and Ngo Dong River. In the afternoon, join a captivating bicycle ride guided by your tour guide, and witness farmers tending to their fields and locals skillfully weaving scarves. The train departs at around 21:15 hrs, and you'll be accommodated in shared sleeping compartments with other passengers, offering a unique local experience. Upon your early arrival at Lao Cai Station, you'll be warmly welcomed and embark on a scenic drive uphill to Sapa in a comfortable shared mini van. After freshening up and enjoying a delightful breakfast at a local restaurant, take the opportunity to explore the charming town of Sapa at your own pace. Visit the bustling Sapa market and the historic cathedral, where you'll encounter friendly local ethnic minority people like the Black H'mong and Red Zao, adorned in their vibrant traditional attire, selling their agricultural products, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Around 10:30 AM, reconvene at our Sapa office to commence an exciting exploration journey into the mesmerizing Muong Hoa Valley. Follow the main road southward for approximately an hour before veering right onto a footpath that leads downhill to the enchanting valley. The route presents breathtaking views of the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountain range, and on clear days, you might catch a glimpse of Fansipan Peak. Cross the river via a suspension bridge, and challenge your feet uphill to Y Linh Ho village, where you'll have the opportunity to visit H'mong families and witness their daily activities. After a satisfying picnic lunch, continue your trek, traversing hills and valleys for about 2 hours until you reach Lao Chai, a sizable H'mong village. Follow the riverbank to Ta Van, a village inhabited by the Zay people. During this journey, you'll have the chance to visit local homes, village schools, and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the ethnic communities, all while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. After breakfast, bid farewell to Ta Van village and embark on an uphill trail, passing mesmerizing terraced rice fields and quaint H'mong hamlets. Continue your trek for half an hour to Giang Ta Chai village, inhabited by the Red Zao people, perched atop a hill overlooking the Muong Hoa river. Immerse yourself in the village, make friends with the locals, and experience their warm hospitality. Cross the river on another suspension bridge, and ascend once more to Hau Thao village, where you'll visit a local handicraft center, a gathering place for H'mong and Zao women to exchange experiences and showcase their handicraft skills. A delicious lunch will be served nearby, giving you time to relax and interact with local schoolchildren and their teachers. Later, a short drive will take you back to Sapa Town.
