You’ll not only discover the rich history of Siem Reap but also forge new friendships and create lasting memories.

The tour will include visits to historical sites in the old town and a scenic stroll along the Siem Reap River, offering picturesque views of local Cambodian life and ample photo opportunities.

To conclude your first day, enjoy a welcome dinner at Marum Restaurant, which serves innovative local cuisine. Marum is an NGO supporting street children and marginalized youth, adding a meaningful touch to your dining experience.

Day 2 Touring to the Ancient of Angkor Temples

After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for a full day exploring the remarkable Angkor temple complex. Your first stop will be Angkor Wat, the most renowned of the Angkor temples. Constructed in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II, Angkor Wat features three levels of libraries, galleries, and towers, all encircled by a substantial retaining wall and a grand moat. With your expert historian guide, you’ll delve deeply into the temple’s history and architecture, tailoring the experience to your interests.

Next, you’ll venture into Angkor Thom, entering through the grand ancient Gate adorned with carvings of elephants and colossal faces. Continue to Bayon Temple, situated at the heart of the city, famous for its enigmatic faces symbolizing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire. The Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King are also essential stops, celebrated for their intricate bas-reliefs.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, sampling delicious Khmer cuisine. In the afternoon, visit Ta Prohm, known for its captivating appearance as it remains largely overtaken by jungle trees and vines, with parts of the temple slowly succumbing to nature. Ta Prohm is one of the most atmospheric and photogenic temples in the Angkor complex, offering a unique and memorable experience.
