At 9:00 am, we embark on an early journey from Hanoi to the breathtaking Halong Bay, a natural wonder renowned for its stunning landscapes. Encompassing an expansive 577 square miles, this bay boasts over 3,000 limestone "peaks" or karsts that gracefully emerge from the azure waters, creating an awe-inspiring panorama. Our exploration spans a day and a half, including an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast served onboard a traditional Vietnamese boat. The boat, crafted with comfortable and intimate hand-made wooden interiors, features amenities like a dining room and air-conditioned cabins with private baths. After breakfast, embark on an exploration of Sung Sot Cave, engage in swimming, and savor moments of relaxation. As the cruise gracefully returns to the jetty, indulge in brunch while cruising through the bay, witnessing more of its captivating formations. Conclude the cruise, check-out, and rejoin the car for a scenic drive back to Hanoi, with a short break available during the journey (20 minutes).
