Board a brief flight to Heho before making your way to Kalaw. Delight in the tranquil atmosphere of this charming town, surrounded by pine trees, as we explore the picturesque countryside.
Today’s excursion might be lengthy, yet it promises a wonderful descent from the plateau to the serene shores of Inle Lake.
Explore the shores of Inle Lake as we journey through various villages and temples. A boat will take us to the Indein temples, floating gardens, and observe the unique fishing techniques of the Intha fishermen.
Returning to land and ascending the Shan Plateau, we ride along both dirt and paved paths leading to Pindaya, where the limestone caves are filled with thousands of Buddha statues.
Explore the rural landscape on our journey to Mandalay as we traverse rolling paths amidst a patchwork of fields.
Leave the city behind and make your way to U Bein, the longest teak bridge in Asia, as we explore the towns situated across the Irrawaddy River.
Begin your cycling adventure in Mandalay at the expansive Zegyo Market before heading towards the Shwenandaw Monastery. The remainder of the day is yours to discover at your leisure.
We venture into the historic Ava Kingdom, traversing fields filled with millet, sesame, and cotton on our way to Pyinsi, where we will then transfer to Mount Popa.
Today, we’ll take a break from biking as we ascend 900 steps to reach the summit of Popa Taung Kalat, a temple that is a significant site for revered nats (spirits). The afternoon is yours to unwind by the pool or explore the hiking trails in the national park.
As we make a gentle descent from the heights, we cycle through charming villages and palm groves, eventually arriving at the temple city of Bagan.
Exploring Bagan by bike is the ideal way to experience its beauty. We ride through the Archaeological Zone, stopping at a diverse array of temples. Witness the sun setting over the river or take in the view from the top of a temple as the day comes to a close.
In the morning, we take a flight back to Yangon, allowing us to see from above some of the landscapes we've traversed on our bicycles.
The morning is yours to enjoy some shopping at Bogyoke Aung San Market before we make our way to the airport.
