As evening approaches, trade the deck chair for a bunk bed and prepare for the 7-hour journey to Ho Chi Minh City.

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the early hours (around 4 am), and proceed to your hotel. Utilize a day room at the hotel to leave your belongings. Formerly recognized as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City buzzes with a myriad of sights and sounds. The French influence is still evident, especially in the delectable baguettes and coffee available. In comparison to the north, the cuisine is spicier, sweeter, and more diverse. Take advantage of the early morning hours by exploring the markets and savoring a bowl of pho with local traders. Your leader will provide recommendations for the best places to visit during your free time. Notably, consider exploring the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Today's itinerary includes a local experience with university students known as Ca Phe Bet, meaning 'coffee on the flat ground.' Indulge in coffee and snacks in one of the many parks. In the evening, gather your group for a meal and drinks on Pham Ngu Lao Street.
