Embark on a captivating 9-day journey through Thailand’s rich history and vibrant culture. Begin in bustling Bangkok before exploring the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya and the cultural treasures of Phitsanulok. Continue to Sukhothai, the first capital of Siam, and then on to Lampang, a charming city with historical charm. Experience the breathtaking views of the Golden Triangle Park, where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet, before discovering the beauty of Chiang Rai. Conclude your adventure in the cultural heart of northern Thailand, Chiang Mai, with its stunning temples and mountain landscapes.
After landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport, you will be welcomed by a representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in, with the rest of the day at your leisure.
At 08:00 hrs (or 12:00 hrs), meet our guide in the hotel lobby.
Depart from the hotel to visit the Grand Palace, a sprawling complex covering 218,400 square meters, enclosed by 1,900 meters of walls, and built in 1782. Marvel at the golden domes, inspiring spires, intricate murals, and stunning ceramic decorations. Surrounding the Ubosot (Chapel) are 12 smaller pavilions. On the left is Phra Sri Rattana Chedi, with Phra Mondop (Library) in the center and Prasart Phra Thep Bidorn on the right, all located on the Upper Terrace. Words cannot fully capture the grandeur of this iconic Bangkok landmark. The Grand Palace, once a royal residence, shares its grounds with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Pra Kaew), home to one of the world’s most revered Buddha statues.
Within the palace grounds, you will also visit Borom Phiman Mansion, the Phra Maha Monthian Group, Chakri Maha Prasat Hall, and Dusit Maha Prasat Hall.
Early this morning, you'll be picked up from the hotel and transferred to one of Thailand's most famous floating markets, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to board a boat and observe the daily life of locals along the narrow canals.
In addition to visiting a coconut farm and sampling fresh coconut juice, you'll also encounter a variety of seasonal fruits such as rambutan, mangoes, papayas, and more. Afterward, return to the hotel, where you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure or spend time shopping on your own.
After breakfast, catch a flight to northern Thailand, heading to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, meet your tour guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Later, visit Doi Suthep Temple, one of Chiang Mai's most revered temples, known as Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. Perched on a hilltop, this Northern Thai-style temple houses sacred relics of the Lord Buddha and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city below. Return to the hotel and enjoy some free time to relax.
In the evening, experience the renowned "Khantoke Dinner," a traditional northern Thai feast accompanied by cultural performances, including hill tribe dances.
Set off for the Elephant Camp to witness elephants working in their natural jungle environment. Observe how they are trained to assist humans and enjoy a captivating elephant show. You will then have the opportunity to experience an exhilarating elephant ride through the forest, followed by a return to the camp via an ox-cart ride. Lunch will be served at the elephant camp.
In the afternoon, take a peaceful bamboo rafting trip along the Mae Taeng River, immersing yourself in the local surroundings. On the way back to Chiang Mai, stop by the Orchid Nursery before being transferred back to your hotel.
After breakfast, head to the Mae Sai Border, which is one of the largest border markets between Thailand and Myanmar. Here, you'll find a variety of items such as local food, clothing, jewelry, silverware, and gemstones. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos converge, with connections to China via the river.
In the past, this area was a key route for the Chinese to transport opium into Siam before it spread elsewhere. Visit the nearby Opium House to explore exhibits on the opium trade's history, routes, artifacts, and more.
Afterwards, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Enjoy your free time at leisure until your scheduled transfer to the airport for your flight to Phuket. Upon arrival at Phuket airport, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or explore at your own pace.
Join a shared transfer by minivan to the pier, where you’ll embark on a speedboat journey to Phi Phi Island.
07:00 am: Depart from the pier, heading towards Phi Phi Ley Island. Stop at "Maya Bay," famous for its role in The Beach movie, for swimming and sightseeing. Continue to "Loh Samah Bay" for snorkeling and feeding vibrant fish. Enjoy sightseeing at "Peleh Cove" and "Viking Cave."
12:00 pm: Arrive at Phi Phi Don Island and get a chance to feed monkeys with bananas.
12:30 pm: Lunch will be served on Phi Phi Don Island.
14:00 pm: Swim in crystal-clear waters and snorkel among the rich coral reefs while feeding fish at Monkey Beach.
15:00 pm: Reach Khai Nok Island, where you can swim, sunbathe, and enjoy feeding the local fish.
16:00 pm: Return to the pier and transfer back to your hotel.
Enjoy your free time at leisure until the scheduled transfer to Phuket airport for your flight back to Bangkok.
