Itinerary

<span> Day 1</span> Arrive Bangkok

Upon your arrival in Bangkok, you will receive a warm welcome and be escorted to your hotel. Later tonight, gather with your tour leader or local guide for a delightful introduction over welcome drinks and a briefing about your upcoming itinerary.

<span> Day 2</span> Bangkok – Something for the Whole Family

This morning, we start our day with a visit to the Grand Palace and the revered Emerald Buddha (Phra Kaeo). Our journey continues to Wat Pho, Bangkok’s oldest and largest temple, where we marvel at the impressive 46-meter-long reclining Buddha. We then experience a glimpse of Bangkok's historic river life with an enjoyable boat trip along the Thonburi canals, followed by a visit to the iconic Temple of Dawn. In the evening, you have free time to explore Bangkok's vibrant night markets and sample its delightful array of restaurants with your loved ones.

<span> Day 3</span> Bangkok to the River Kwai

 

Our journey takes us to the River Kwai region, renowned for its lush rainforests and the majestic Kwai Noi River. We visit war-time cemeteries and embark on a memorable ride aboard the 'Death Railway' train. Later, we travel by long-tail boat to reach our extraordinary floating hotel, nestled amidst the forest—an unforgettable experience for all family members.

<span> Day 4</span> Elephants and Waterfalls

Explore nearby waterfalls where we can unwind and swim, followed by a safe and enjoyable elephant ride. In the evening, children can swim in the River Kwai and enjoy entertainment provided by our gracious Mon hosts.

<span> Day 5</span> Ayuthaya and Sleeper Train

Our journey takes us eastward to explore the ancient ruins of Ayuthaya, once the heart of a mighty empire with extensive influence. Here, children can enjoy an engaging museum experience. In the evening, we embark on an overnight train adventure to the cultural hub of the north, featuring clean and comfortable sleeper beds.

<span> Day 6</span> Doi Suthep Temple and Cyclo Tour

Chiang Mai boasts over 100 monasteries, excellent shopping opportunities, and delightful dining options. Our journey begins with a visit to the hilltop Doi Suthep temple to orient ourselves, followed by a samlor (cyclo) tour to explore some of the city’s most exquisite temples: Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang. In the evening, immerse yourself in the renowned night bazaar.

<span> Day 7</span> Elephant Camp and Craft Villages

This morning, families will enjoy captivating performances at an entertaining elephant show, followed by a visit to a stunning orchid farm. Later in the day, we venture to nearby craft villages where we observe artisans creating handmade parasols, woodwork, and silverware.

<span> Day 8</span> Lisu Lodge Adventure

Today, we journey to the distinctive Lisu Lodge, celebrated for its serene mountain ambiance and commitment to employing local residents as managers, chefs, and hosts. At the lodge, we embark on cycling adventures through the nearby countryside, take part in an elephant trekking experience, and enjoy leisurely white-water rafting. Children will gain insights into tribal cultures through their stay at the lodge and a visit to an Akha village.

<span> Day 9</span> Chiang Dao Caves and the Lanna Farm

This morning, explore the village surroundings with a visit to the local healer and a Lisu herb garden. Later, bid farewell to our Lisu hosts before departing by vehicle for a Palong village. From there, embark on a brief two-hour trek to reach a Lahu settlement. In the evening, we travel by vehicle to Lanna Farm, a project aimed at fostering appreciation for traditional Thai culture. En route, we stop at the Chiang Dao Caves, which stretch 14 kilometers and are said to have been inhabited by a hermit for a thousand years. At Lanna Farm, engage the children in a fun family cooking class before settling in for the night.

<span> Day 10</span> Hill Tribe Visits and Chiang Rai

Start your day with a relaxed breakfast before departing for northern Thailand. En route to Chiang Rai, we will pause at Tha Thon town, as well as visit a Lorkha and Yao village. This evening, explore the local food court in Chiang Rai town.

<span> Day 11</span> The Golden Triangle

Today, we journey to Mae Sai, Thailand's northernmost town. From the Myanmar border, we proceed to Sop Ruak, renowned as the heart of the Golden Triangle where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar converge. Here, we explore the captivating Hall of Opium. Later in the evening, we return to Chiang Mai to conclude our journey in the "Land of Smiles."

Today, your family will be provided with transportation to the airport for your next destination.
