Explore Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the Dinh and Le dynasties.
Embark on a boat trip along the Tam Coc River, often referred to as the Halong Bay on Land, boasting impressive caves and limestone mountains.
If time permits, consider a half-hour walk up one of the surrounding limestone karsts.
Proceed to Tam Coc Town for an authentic Vietnamese-style lunch.
Capture picturesque rural landscapes along the way.
Afternoon and Night
Return to your hotel in Hanoi for an overnight stay in the capital.
