Explore the remaining areas and tunnel systems, discovering specially constructed living spaces with kitchens, bedrooms, and various martial facilities such as storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers that fulfilled the basic needs of those living within the tunnels. Continue to Tortoise Islet, where you'll dine amidst an orchard garden. Following this, enjoy a boat ride to An Khanh, a less frequented gem in Ben Tre. Cruise on a hand-rowed sampan beneath the tranquil shade of water coconut trees along natural canals, and relish seasonal fruit and honey tea accompanied by the melodies of "Southern Vietnamese folk music" performed by local artists. Visit a family-run establishment that epitomizes the serene rural lifestyle, sample delectable coconut candy, and witness pastoral life as you wander through fruit plantations and villages.
