Itinerary

<span> Day 1</span> Mandalay (Airport arrival)

Upon landing at Mandalay International Airport, you'll go through Immigration and Customs before heading to the arrivals area, where our guide will meet you. Explore Mandalay, the last royal capital and a hub of Myanmar's culture, traditions, arts, and crafts. After transferring to your hotel, you'll visit the renowned Golden Palace Monastery, the sole remaining structure of the Royal Palace, and Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world's largest book. Conclude your day by watching the sunset from Mandalay Hill, which rises 200 meters above the city.

<span> Day 2</span> Mandalay, Mingun (by boat)

This morning, you'll head to the jetty for a private boat ride to Mingun, located 7 miles north of Mandalay. As you cross the Ayeyarwaddy River, take in the scenic views of fishermen at work and bamboo barges. Upon reaching the village, explore the Pahtotawgyi Temple, known as the world's unfinished pagoda, along with its massive bell and the Mya Thein Dan Pagoda. After your visit, return to Mandalay by boat for lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the Mahamuni Buddha Image, followed by a tour of a gold-leaf workshop, as well as workshops for sculpture, wood-carving, and puppetry. You'll then transfer back to your hotel.

<span> Day 3</span> Mandalay, Ava, Sagaing, Amarapura

Following breakfast, embark on a journey to the ancient capitals of Ava, which served as the heart of several Burmese kingdoms for five centuries. You'll take a local ferry across the river, providing access to Ava Island. Once there, explore the area by horse cart for a unique experience, visiting the stunning teakwood Bagaya Kyaung monastery and Mai Nu Oakkyaung.

In the afternoon, head to Sagaing, a serene town located across the Irrawaddy River from Mandalay. Known as a vibrant center of Buddhist faith in Myanmar, it is popular among locals seeking tranquility. Ascend Sagaing Hill to visit Soon-u-ponnya-shin Pagoda and Umin Thone Se Pagoda, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of over 600 religious structures, including monasteries and temples scattered across the hillside.

Finally, visit Amarapura, the ancient capital that preceded Mandalay, renowned for the U Bein Bridge made of teak. Take a stroll across this iconic wooden bridge or enjoy a canoe ride on Taungthaman Lake to soak in the picturesque surroundings and observe local fishing practices.

<span> Day 4</span> Mandalay -Bagan (by car)

Following breakfast, set off for Bagan, a journey of approximately 3.5 hours. If you wish, you can stop at a village along the route for a brief visit. Upon reaching Bagan, check in to your hotel and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. The evening is yours to spend at your leisure.

This morning, you'll transfer to the jetty to board the Alliance River Cruise/RV Panorama heading to Bagan. This full day of cruising offers a glimpse into life along the Irrawaddy River, which flows southward from the Himalayas to the Indian Ocean. During the cruise, you'll visit a village to observe the daily lives of the locals. Arrive in Bagan by evening and transfer to your hotel.

<span> Day 5</span> Bagan

Begin your morning by exploring Bagan, a significant archaeological site in Southeast Asia, renowned for its nearly 4,000 religious structures built between the 11th and 13th centuries. Notable temples to visit include the revered Ananda Temple, Shwe Gu Gyi, and Maha Bodhi. In the afternoon, stop by a lacquerware workshop to witness the fascinating production process. Later, head to Sulamani Sunset Viewing Hill for a breathtaking sunset that is truly unforgettable.

<span> Day 6</span> Bagan

Begin your day with a visit to the vibrant Nyaung U Market. From there, head to Shwezigone Pagoda, followed by Gubyaukgyi Temple, known for its stunning mural paintings, and Htilominlo Temple. In the afternoon, explore the traditional West Phwar-Saw village, where you can interact with the friendly locals. Continue your journey to the impressive Dhammayangyi Temple and Sulamani Temple, taking in the scenic plantation fields along the way. End the day by witnessing a breathtaking sunset from Nyaung Lat Pat Kan Kone, offering unforgettable views.

<span> Day 7</span> Bagan- Pindaya (by car)

In the morning, set off for Pindaya via the highway, enjoying scenic views of patchwork fields and traditional villages along the way. You will reach your destination by evening and check into your hotel. Afterwards, take a stroll around Boataloat Lake, where you can interact with the local community.

<span> Day 8</span> Pindaya visit- Nyaung Shwe/ Inle Lake

This morning, begin your visit to the Pindaya Cave, a natural cavern housing over eight thousand Buddha images. Next, observe the traditional craftsmanship of Shan paper and umbrella making.

Afterward, depart for Nyaung Shwe, the gateway to the lake, renowned for its stunning nature and traditional leg-rowing fishermen. En route, stop at the Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery, a beautiful teak structure featuring oval windows adorned with mosaics and golden details. Also visit the Shwe Yan Pyay Temple, which is filled with numerous Buddha statues.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel for some refreshment. Then, set out to explore the stunning sights of Inle Lake by boat, visiting the floating villages and farms, witnessing traditional fishing methods, and appreciating local arts and crafts.

<span> Day 9</span> Inle Lake (excursion to Indein)

This morning, embark on a boat trip to discover the stunning sights of Inle Lake, visiting the floating villages and farms, and witnessing traditional fishing practices as well as local arts and crafts. Stop at a village market to see a variety of local products.

Next, visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and Nge Pe Chaung Monastery, which features an impressive collection of Buddha images. Explore the renowned lotus-weaving in Inn Paw Khone village and other artisan workshops in Nampam village.

Continue your journey to Indein village, where you can stroll through the Indein Pagoda complex, which boasts over a thousand stupas on the hillside, accessed via the picturesque Indein canal.

<span> Day 10</span> Inle/ Heho- Yangon (by flight)

This morning, you’ll transfer to the airport for your flight to Yangon. Known for its wide, tree-lined boulevards, sparkling Buddhist stupas, and British colonial architecture, Yangon is a charming city. Established in 1755 by King Alaungpaya, it became the capital after the British took control of Upper Myanmar in 1885. Once called Rangoon, it was celebrated as the "Queen of the East" and is now regarded as one of the most enchanting cities in Southeast Asia, vibrant yet relaxed, featuring modern high-rises and shopping centers.

Upon arrival, visit Bogyoke Aung San Market, commonly known as Scott Market, where you can shop for souvenirs. Stroll through the downtown area, designed by the British with its characteristic colonial grid layout—Yangon’s shaded streets are a pleasure to explore. Your city tour continues with stops at Chaukhtatgyi, home to a magnificent reclining Buddha, and several colonial buildings.

In the afternoon, visit the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda, towering at over 326 feet and adorned with gold and jewels. This sacred site is the most revered shrine in Myanmar.

<span> Day 11</span> Yangon

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight, based on your flight schedule.
