Then, venture to Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled between mountains and the mighty Mekong River, where you’ll witness stunning temples and local traditions. Conclude your journey with a tranquil cruise to Pak Ou Caves, filled with thousands of Buddha statues. This tour promises to unveil the hidden gems and rich heritage of Laos at every turn.
Upon your arrival in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, you will be greeted and taken to your hotel, conveniently situated in the heart of the city. Vientiane is a captivating city, showcasing a unique blend of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, and American influences. After a brief rest, we will begin exploring the city’s key attractions. Our tour includes a visit to Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple housing thousands of small Buddha statues, and Wat Prakeo, the former royal temple that once held the revered Emerald Buddha. On the way to That Luang Stupa, Laos’ national symbol, you'll also have the chance to capture some photos of the impressive Patuxay Monument, often referred to as Vientiane’s Arc de Triomphe. To end the day, we will head to the Mekong riverside, a perfect spot to watch the sunset.

In the afternoon, we take a short flight to Xieng Khouang. Upon landing, we head out to explore the fascinating Plain of Jars, an archaeological marvel featuring hundreds of large stone jars spread across the plateau. Later in the day, we will visit the former capital of Muang Khoun Province, as well as nearby villages that are home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people, each known for their rich cultural heritage and captivating history.

Today, we embark on a scenic drive to the delightful town of Luang Prabang. The journey takes us through winding mountain roads, offering chances to pause for photos and visit various hill tribe villages along the way. Once we reach Luang Prabang, you will check in to your hotel. In the evening, we will visit the vibrant Night Market, where you can browse a beautiful array of handmade textiles crafted by the surrounding hill tribes.

Today, we begin with a guided visit to Wat Sene, the city’s oldest temple, followed by the stunning Wat Xiengthong, renowned for its gracefully sloping roofs that showcase the traditional architecture of Luang Prabang's temples. Afterward, we board a boat for a serene cruise upstream on the Mekong River, offering picturesque views of the peaceful countryside. Our journey takes us to the intriguing Pak Ou Caves, where thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues of various sizes, left by pilgrims, fill the two connected caves. Along the way, we’ll stop at Ban Xanghai village, famous for producing traditional rice wine. Upon returning to Luang Prabang, we take a short trip to Ban Phanom, a village celebrated for its skilled hand weaving.

After breakfast, we head to the National Museum (closed on Tuesdays), located in the former Royal Palace, where you’ll find a remarkable collection of artifacts that showcase the rich cultural heritage of Laos, from the early monarchs to the last reigning king. We will also have the chance to visit a renowned silver smith in Luang Prabang, the Fine Arts School, and explore the Central Market before catching a flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival and hotel check-in, we will visit the Buddha Park, a fascinating site featuring Buddhist and Hindu sculptures on a riverside meadow near the Mekong and Friendship Bridge. This park boasts around 200 religious statues, some over 500 years old, crafted by a mystical monk who sought to express his philosophical views on life and the universe. To conclude the day, we’ll enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the Mekong River.

After breakfast, we will stop by the Morning Market, time permitting. The tour concludes with your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
