In the morning, we will pick you up at 8:30 AM in Vientiane. Our first stop is Wat Si Muang, renowned for its mystical power and significance. Afterward, we head to Buddha Park, also known as Xieng Khuan, a fascinating place adorned with over 200 statues representing both Buddhist and Hindu figures. Next, we visit the Lao Disable Women Development Center, a place that supports and empowers disabled women by providing them with opportunities for livelihood and advocating for their rights. You can contribute to their cause by purchasing some of their handmade crafts available at the center's shop. In the afternoon, we continue our exploration by visiting That Luang, Laos' most sacred site, characterized by its towering golden spire, an impressive structure built during the 16th century. Following that, we climb the stairs to the top of Patuxai, Vientiane's own version of the "Arc de Triomphe," offering a panoramic view of the city. Our journey proceeds to the serene Wat Sisaket, the only temple that survived the Siamese invasion in 1828, and then to Wat Phra Keo, functioning as a religious museum showcasing an assortment of Lao and Khmer art pieces. We conclude our day along the Mekong River, where you can stroll along the banks, savor a refreshing drink, or taste local snacks from the various food stalls. Overnight in Vientiane. Tips: Optionally, you can visit Sinouk Coffee Pavilion to explore Lao coffee, browse through the mini coffee gallery, observe the in-house coffee roaster, and savor a unique and delicious cup of coffee or tea. Discuss this option with our guide, and the entrance fee and additional coffee/drinks can be paid on-site. Additionally, there's an opportunity to visit Ban Hom, just 12 km from the old quarter, where you can experience the rural local life and interact with farmers working in the fields. On our way to Kuang Si Waterfall, we make a stop at Buffalo Dairy Farm, offering scheduled tours every 20 minutes between 10 am and 5 pm. At the farm, you can cuddle up to our magnificent buffalos, some weighing 450 kilos, or feed the friendly buffalo named Ferdinand, a mere 750 kilos! They relish eating not only grass but also bananas. After a sumptuous meal, the buffalo's next favorite activity is having a refreshing bath, and you can indulge in giving them a gentle scrub—a truly unique "day spa" experience with buffalo! Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on milking demonstration and learn about the exceptional health benefits of buffalo milk. While the buffalo may be the stars, our playful pigs, cheeky chickens, and rollicking rabbits also offer plenty of fun for everyone. Next, we'll head directly to the breathtaking Kuang Si Waterfall, the largest waterfall in the Luang Prabang region, boasting three tiers cascading into spectacular azure pools before flowing downstream. These crystal-clear pools serve as fantastic swimming holes and are cherished by both tourists and locals.
