Begin your journey in Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its well-preserved temples and charming streets. Explore the Royal Palace Museum, marvel at the ornate Wat Xiengthong, and enjoy a scenic climb up Mount Phousi for panoramic views. Cruise along the Mekong River to the mystical Pak Ou Caves, renowned for their thousands of Buddha statues. This tour offers a perfect blend of cultural exploration and natural beauty, ensuring a memorable experience in one of Southeast Asia’s most captivating destinations.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your selected hotel. Enjoy a relaxed lunch before heading out to explore Wat Xiengthong, the most renowned and stunning temple in the old town, dating back to the 16th century. Next, visit Wat Visoun, known for its distinctive Melon Stupa, and Wat Aham. Conclude your day with a climb of 328 steps up Mount Phousi to witness a spectacular sunset. On your return, take some time to explore the vibrant night market.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
After breakfast, set off on a leisurely boat journey to Pak Ou Caves, located 32 km upriver. Along the way, stop at a local whisky village to observe the traditional process of making Lau Lao, a potent rice whisky. Continue your journey to the caves, where thousands of Buddha statues are enshrined. After exploring the caves, break for lunch at a traditional local restaurant. Then, return downstream to Luang Prabang. A brief 12 km drive by private car will take you to Ban Xangkhong, known for its ethnic weaving and mulberry paper production, before heading back to your hotel.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
After breakfast, begin your day with a minivan drive through the scenic Lao countryside towards the Kuang Si Waterfall, approximately 29 km away. En route, visit a Hmong minority village and capture photos of the stunning green landscapes. Upon reaching the waterfall, enjoy a refreshing swim in its turquoise pools and have a picnic lunch. Return to Luang Prabang in the mid-afternoon.

Begin the day with a pre-dawn departure at 5:45am by car to Ban Vat Sean to witness the traditional alms-giving ceremony where numerous monks collect offerings. After the ceremony, return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. The morning continues with a visit to the former Royal Palace before transferring to Luang Prabang airport for your departure flight.
