Today, we will take a flight to Bagan for an in-depth exploration of this stunning city, renowned as one of Myanmar’s key historical and cultural hubs, boasting over 2,000 temples and pagodas. Our itinerary features sacred sites like Ananda, Htilominlo, Thatbyinnyu, Dhammayangyi, Sulamani, and Shwezigon Pagoda, along with visits to the bustling Nyaung U market and traditional artisan workshops. To cap off the day, enjoy a breathtaking sunset view over the plains from Nyaung Lat Phet Hill.
Enjoy a full-day exploration of the stunning Inle Lake, often dubbed the Venice of Asia. This picturesque location is known for its stilt houses, floating gardens, and fishermen employing traditional techniques like leg-rowing. Along the shores, you'll find workshops of skilled artisans, including weavers and cigar-makers. Our itinerary includes visits to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, and local family-run workshops specializing in silversmithing, cheroot production, and weaving by the Ring-necked ladies.
Embark on a visit to the vibrant local market near Inle Lake, where villagers from the surrounding areas come to sell their goods. Then, continue your journey to the western shores of the lake, navigating through a small canal to reach Indein, a Pa-Oh village renowned for its hill adorned with 1,054 stupas built between the 17th and 18th centuries. Take your time to explore Indein on foot, wandering through the village, stopping by a local school, and ascending to the top of the hill, where you can stroll among the weathered stupas while taking in the breathtaking views of the lake below.
Afterward, transfer to Heho Airport for your flight to Yangon. In the evening, visit the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda, known for its stunning golden stupa.
You have the entire day to unwind or explore additional attractions in Yangon. When it’s time, you will be transferred to Yangon International Airport for your departure flight.
