Itinerary

<span> Day 1</span> Arrival at Mandalay and Mandalay sightseeing

Upon your arrival at Mandalay Airport, our excellent driver and professional English-speaking guide will be there to greet you. Your first stop will be the Mahamuni Buddha Image, originally cast during Buddha’s lifetime (circa 623 BC). The temple was constructed in 1784 by King Bodawphaya, burned down in 1884, and later renovated by King Thibaw, showcasing a blend of Myanmar and Italian architecture. You’ll also see bronze figures from the Angkor Wat Temple in Cambodia.

Next, we’ll visit a stone-carving workshop to observe the artisans at work, followed by a tour of centers specializing in puppetry, wood carving, tapestry, and gold-leaf production. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor traditional Myanmar and Chinese cuisine.

In the afternoon, we’ll proceed to Mandalay Royal Palace, built in 1857 by King Mindon, the second-to-last king of the Yadanabon Kingdom. Following this, explore the Golden Palace Monastery, adorned with gold leaf and intricate wood carvings. Then, visit Kuthodaw Pagoda, recognized by UNESCO as the world’s largest book.

As the day comes to an end, we’ll enjoy a breathtaking sunset from the top of Mandalay Hill. Afterward, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel to relax for the night.

<span> Day 2</span> Transfer to Bagan and Mt.Popa sightseeing

Our driver and guide will meet you and take you on a journey to Bagan. Along the way, we'll make a stop in Myingyan to explore the bustling local market, filled with both locals and visitors. Next, we’ll head to Min Sone Taung Wildlife Sanctuary to see the unique Burmese Star Tortoise. Continuing on, we’ll visit Mount Popa, an extinct volcano rising over 1,500 meters, located approximately 48 km southeast of Bagan. Here, you can enjoy the stunning stupas, monasteries, and Nat worship shrines.

As we make our way to Bagan, we’ll take a moment to visit a local shop. Once we arrive, we’ll transfer you to your hotel where you can relax and unwind for the evening. You’ll spend the night in Bagan.

<span> Day 3</span> Sunrise and Biking around Bagan by E-bike

In the early morning, our driver and guide will pick you up to witness the breathtaking sunrise at one of the ancient pagodas. After breakfast, you'll embark on a cycling adventure around Bagan, where you’ll be amazed by the expansive landscape dotted with pagodas. Throughout the day, you’ll visit some of the most captivating sites, including the bustling Nyaung Oo Market, the shimmering Shwezigon Pagoda, and the enchanting cave temple of Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi.

In the afternoon, you’ll cycle to Ananda Temple and Htilo Minlo Temple. As evening approaches, enjoy a stunning sunset at Shwe Sandaw Pagoda. You’ll spend the night in Bagan.

<span> Day 4</span> Fly to Heho and kalaw trekking

Our driver will collect you and take you to Nyaung U Airport for your morning flight to Heho. Upon arrival, your trekking guide and driver will greet you and transfer you to Baw Ninkon village, the starting point for your trek to Inle Lake, which takes about three and a half hours. Once you reach Baw Ninkon, you'll begin your trek with your guide and porter, hiking for an hour to Kon Hla village. There, you’ll enjoy lunch before continuing your journey.

After trekking for another three and a half hours, you'll arrive at Ti Thein village, where you'll spend the night in a monastery. Along the way, you’ll encounter lush gardens, streams, pine trees, pear trees, chili gardens, and a variety of bird species. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet local ethnic groups, including the Danu, Taungyo, and PaO. Overnight stay at Ti Thein village.

<span> Day 5</span> Kalaw Trekking and Indein sightseeing

After breakfast, you’ll resume your trek toward Indein village. After approximately four hours of trekking, you’ll arrive at Indein, where you can enjoy lunch. Following your meal, you’ll take a boat to explore Ywama, immersing yourself in the beauty of Inle Lake. You’ll witness floating villages, gardens, and workshops where cheroots and golden umbrellas are crafted. After your sightseeing adventure, we’ll transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay in Nyaung Shwe.

<span> Day 6</span> Fly to Ngapali and leisure at the beach

Our exceptional driver and professional English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to Heho Airport for your flight to Thandwe. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel where you can relax. Enjoy your overnight stay at Ngapali Beach.

<span> Day 7</span> Leisure at Ngapali Beach

There are no scheduled activities from LM Travel Myanmar today, allowing you to relax and enjoy your time at the beach.

<span> Day 8</span> Leisure at Ngapali and Fly to Yangon

You will be taken to Thandwe Airport in time for your flight to Yangon. Upon your arrival at Yangon International Airport, we will transfer you to your hotel for some leisure time. Enjoy your overnight stay in Yangon.

<span> Day 9</span> Yangon sightseeing

Our excellent driver and professional English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel and first take you to the iconic Sule Pagoda in the city center, followed by a visit to Mahabandoola Park, where you can admire the impressive Colonial Buildings, City Hall, and a Synagogue. Next, we’ll head to Botataung Pagoda before exploring Bogyoke (Scott) Market, filled with hundreds of shops and gem stores (closed on Mondays and Gazette Holidays). You’ll also have the chance to visit a Myanmar artist’s gallery and sample traditional costumes, foods, and antiques. After that, we’ll visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda before heading to Kandawgyi Lake, one of Yangon’s two major artificial lakes. Enjoy the sunset here with the stunning backdrop of Shwedagon Pagoda. Finally, we’ll visit Shwedagon Pagoda before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Yangon.

<span> Day 10</span> Departure

Our driver will meet you to take you to Yangon International Airport for your departure.
