Itinerary

<span> Day 1</span> Arrival at Mandalay and Mandalay sightseeing

Upon your arrival at Mandalay International Airport, our experienced driver and knowledgeable guide will greet you and take you to visit the Mahamuni Buddha image, a revered relic dating back to 623 BC. The temple was originally constructed in 1784 by King Bodawphaya but was destroyed by fire in 1884; it was later restored by King Thibaw, the last king of Myanmar, showcasing a blend of Myanmar and Italian architectural styles. You'll also see bronze figures sourced from the Ankarwot Temple in Cambodia.

Next, we will head to a stone-carving workshop to observe the artisans at work. Following this, you’ll visit centers dedicated to puppet making, wood carving, and tapestry production. The tour will then continue to a gold-leaf production facility.

Afterward, enjoy a meal at a restaurant featuring traditional Myanmar cuisine alongside Chinese dishes. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the Golden Palace Monastery, renowned for its intricate gold leaf and wood carvings, as well as the Kuthodaw Pagoda, recognized by UNESCO as the world’s largest book. To cap off the day, we’ll drive to the top of Mandalay Hill (975 feet above sea level) for a stunning sunset and panoramic views of the city. You will spend the night in Mandalay.

<span> Day 2</span> Drive to Bagan and Mt.Popa sightseeing

Embarking on a 4-hour drive to Bagan. Along the route, we’ll make stops for restroom breaks or photo opportunities as you desire. Our first stop will be Mount Popa, an extinct volcano standing over 1,500 meters tall, located approximately 48 kilometers southeast of Bagan. Here, you can explore various stupas, monasteries, and shrines dedicated to the Nat spirits.

Afterward, we’ll head back to Bagan, making a brief stop at a local shop along the way. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before we transfer you to your hotel, where you can relax for the remainder of the day. You will spend the night in Bagan.

<span> Day 3</span> Bagan sightseeing

Your driver will pick you up and take you to Yangon International Airport for your morning flight to Nyaung U. Upon your arrival in Nyaung U, our skilled driver and professional English-speaking guide will greet you and begin your sightseeing adventure.

The first stop will be Shwezigon Pagoda, constructed in the early 11th century by King Anawrahta, followed by a visit to Ananda Temple, known for its various seated Buddha figures and four distinct poses of standing Buddhas. You’ll also have the opportunity to admire the ancient wall paintings at Dhamayangyi Pagoda.

Next, we will transfer to Htilominlo Pagoda, built during King Htilominlo's reign (also known as Nandaungmya), and visit Thatbinnyunt Pagoda, the tallest pagoda in Bagan, as well as Shwesandaw Pagoda. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon will feature visits to Manuha Temple, constructed in the 10th century by the Mon Dynasty, Myingaba Gu Byauk Gyi Temple, known for its Jataka mural paintings protected by UNESCO, and Nanphaya Temple, notable for its sandstone monuments and as the former residence of King Manuha.

After watching the sunset, you will be taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Bagan.

<span> Day 4</span> Fly Inle and Inle, Indein sightseeing

You will be transferred to Nyaung U Airport for your morning flight to Heho. Upon your arrival at Heho Airport, our experienced English-speaking guide and skilled driver will meet you and take you to Nyaung Shwe.

From there, we will embark on a boat journey to explore the southern part of the lake, navigating through narrow, winding creeks to reach Indein village. Situated on the southwestern bank of the lake, this quaint village is renowned for its ancient clusters of pagodas dating back to the 16th century. The serene atmosphere and the ruins, now enveloped in vegetation, will transport you back in time. On this day, the five-day market in Indein village will also be taking place.

Afterward, we will continue to Ywa-Ma village, known for its gold and silversmith workshops. The Intha people have resided for generations in stilted villages on the lake, making a living through fishing and cultivating crops on their distinctive floating gardens. You’ll have the chance to observe their unique leg-rowing technique and fishing methods.

Next, we will visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and witness traditional handicrafts, including silk weaving on wooden looms, as well as a blacksmith shop and Shan shoulder bag weaving workshop in Nan Pan Village. Additionally, we will stop at a local cheroot factory, where Burmese cigars are crafted, and see canoe carving.

Finally, we will head to In Paw Kon Village to explore the floating gardens known as Kyun Hmyaw. After a full day of sightseeing, we will transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay in Nyaung Shwe.

<span> Day 5</span> Pindya sightseeing and fly to Yangon

Our skilled driver and professional English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel. From there, we will head to the renowned Pindaya Cave, which is believed to be around 200 million years old. These caves have served as sacred sites for worship and reverence for centuries, housing a remarkable collection of 8,094 Buddha images crafted from various materials such as teak wood, marble, alabaster, brick, cement, and lacquer, all carefully placed in the crevices of the intricate caverns.

Next, we will visit a parasol-making workshop and a Shan paper-making workshop. After our explorations, we will transfer you to Heho Airport for your evening flight to Yangon. Upon your arrival in Yangon, our driver will be there to pick you up and take you to your hotel, where you will spend the night.

<span> Day 6</span> Yangon sightseeing

Our knowledgeable English-speaking guide and excellent driver will collect you from your hotel for a visit to the city center, starting with the iconic Sule Pagoda. We’ll then explore Mahabandoola Park, located in downtown Yangon, which features impressive colonial buildings, City Hall, and a synagogue.

Next, we'll head to Botataung Pagoda before visiting Bogyoke (Scott) Market, where you can browse hundreds of shops, including gem stores (please note that the market is closed on Mondays and public holidays). While there, don’t miss the chance to visit the Myanmar Artist’s art gallery, and sample traditional costumes and local delicacies.

Afterward, we will proceed to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda. Our journey will take us to Kandawgyi Lake, one of Yangon’s two major artificial lakes. Here, you can relax and enjoy the sunset with the stunning backdrop of Shwedagon Pagoda. Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Yangon.

<span> Day 7</span> Yangon sightseeing and Departure

Three hours prior to your flight, our driver will collect you from your hotel and take you to Yangon International Airport for your departure.
