<span> Day 1</span>Welcome to Luang Prabang

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a captivating city nestled amidst majestic mountain ranges and adorned with historical temples. Enjoy some free time to explore the city's charm. Overnight at Villa Saykham or similar.

<span> Day 2 </span>Journey to Nong Khiaw - Lao Leu Village Exploration

Meet your guide in Luang Prabang and embark on a picturesque drive along the Nam Ou River to the quaint town of Nong Khiaw. En route, we'll visit Ban Na Nyang, a Lao Leu village known for its traditional-style houses and handicrafts. Arrive in Nong Khiaw in the afternoon and have time to discover the town. Your guide will lead you to savor some delightful local cuisine for dinner. Overnight at Nong Kiau Riverside or similar.

<span> Day 3 </span>100 Waterfall Trek & Riverside Khmu Village

Prepare for an awe-inspiring adventure as we embark on a journey to the magnificent 100 Waterfalls. We'll start with a tranquil boat ride along the Nam Ou River, allowing you to immerse yourself in the charm of a local Lao village nestled along the riverbanks. As we venture into the waterfalls, you'll gain insight into the locals' way of life along this scenic river. The trek will lead us through small streams and rice paddies until we reach the base of the 100 Waterfalls. For the next few hours, nature's wonders will surround us, with cascading waterfalls and lush jungle creating a mesmerizing ambiance. The inviting pools offer a refreshing oasis for a rejuvenating splash. Your knowledgeable guide will accompany you through the cascades and arrange a delightful local-style lunch amidst the green wilderness. After the waterfall adventure, a villagers' trail on the top of the 100 Waterfalls will grant us panoramic views of the picturesque Nam Ou valley. We'll trek back to the Nam Ou River, where a boat will transfer us to Ban Houay Goong, an enchanting Khmu village beautifully situated along the riverbanks. Tonight, we'll enjoy an authentic homestay experience in this charming village. Note: Strap-on sandals or quick-drying shoes are recommended for this trek, as your feet may get wet. You'll need to pack an overnight bag today, while your main luggage remains secure with the boatman until we reunite tomorrow. Trekking time: ~5-6hrs Overnight: Khmu Village Homestay (multi-share)

<span> Day 4 </span>Na Luang Trek

After a delightful breakfast, we'll embark on a boat and vehicle transfer to the trailhead, leading us to the captivating destination of Na Luang. Our journey begins with a scenic walk along charming paths, passing through lush rice paddies (seasonal) and a pristine forest adorned with magnificent, towering trees and breathtaking vistas. We'll relish a jungle-style lunch amidst this serene environment and make occasional stops to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surroundings. The trek spans 5-6 hours, offering a moderate level of difficulty with some uphill and downhill sections. Our route takes us to a traditional Lao-style village, where local customs and heritage are beautifully preserved. Sturdy footwear is recommended, especially if the ground is slippery due to wet conditions. In the village, your guide will lead you through a captivating exploration, and if you're interested, you might have the opportunity to visit the Clay School, which is supported by generous contributions from visitors like you. As the evening unfolds, we'll prepare for a heartwarming overnight stay in the village and savor the delectable local cuisine. In this communal setting, meals are prepared based on seasonal availability, ensuring fresh and authentic flavors. During your free time, you can leisurely explore the tranquil village and its enchanting surroundings. Perhaps you'll even join in some delightful games with the cheerful village children. <span> Day 5 </span> Jungle Trek to Nam Ou River, Boat to Muang Ngoi

After a delightful breakfast, we embark on an adventurous journey, leaving the village via a local walking trail that leads us to the stunning Nam Ou River. This route is undeniably one of the most spectacular in the region, taking us through a captivating canyon pass with majestic mountains rising on both sides. The trek involves medium-difficulty terrain and spans approximately 4 hours. There is a challenging one-hour uphill stretch, making it essential to be physically fit for this part, especially in the heat. Throughout the trek, we traverse lush jungles, cross rocky terrain, and meander through picturesque rice fields. We make a stop at a charming Khmu village nestled along the banks of the Nam Ou River, where we can observe its thriving gardens. During our journey, we enjoy another delightful Lao-style lunch. Later, we'll transfer to the serene village of Muang Ngoi by private boat, where you can indulge in a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. <span> Day 6 </span>Boat to Nong Khiaw, Pak Ou Cave to Luang Prabang

After breakfast, we embark on a short boat trip to Nong Khiaw and continue our return journey by vehicle to Luang Prabang. Along the way, we pause to visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, situated at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. These photogenic caves, known as "Tham Ting" and "Tham Phoum," house a remarkable collection of thousands of Buddha sculptures and images, left by pilgrims over the years.
