Day 2 Chiang Mai/Ban Pha Mon

Nestled in the northern hills of Thailand lies a treasure trove of vibrant and authentic traditional communities. Venture through lush forests and rural landscapes to explore various hilltribe villages, each showcasing its own distinct language, attire, and belief systems that set them apart from nearby tribes. Your journey is made comfortable by your CEO and local guides, who handle meal preparations and transport all necessary supplies.

Day 3 Ban Pha Mon/Ban Muang Pam

Embark on a six-hour trek across villages, traversing farmlands and grasslands as you ascend to the ridgeline. Discover the secrets of bush medicine, along with seasonal fruits, plants, and seeds. Afterward, put on your wet shoes and make your way down to Huew Hin Poon Creek for lunch.

Here, take a refreshing swim and assist the local guides in creating a friction fire to prepare your meal. Continue for another hour and a half to reach a jungle Buddhist temple situated near the second village. Spend the night in the Karen village, where you can explore wood carving, weaving, and cooking traditions. You may also choose to learn about medicinal practices from a shaman or enjoy a friendly game of football with the locals.

Day 4 Ban Muang Pam/Ban Jabo

After enjoying breakfast, depart from the village and continue your trek along the Pam River, surrounded by vibrant jungle scenery. Reach Tham Lod, an impressive cave that plunges 1666 meters deep. Experience this unique environment by entering the cave on a bamboo raft and exploring its various chambers. After your cave adventure and lunch, head to Ban Jabo, a village of the Black Lahu people. Immerse yourself in Lahu culture, participate in traditional activities, and help prepare dinner using local ingredients and cooking techniques.
