Itinerary

Day 1 Phuket

Sa-wat dee! Welcome to Phuket, Thailand's largest and most famous island. Here, modern vibrancy meets tropical allure. At 1 pm today, you’ll meet your skipper and fellow travelers before embarking on an adventure across the Andaman Sea. Your first destination is Ko Rang Yai Island, where the boat will anchor near a secluded beach—ideal for unwinding. Take a refreshing swim, enjoy dinner onboard, and watch the sunset paint the sky.

Please note: Space aboard the Cataleya is limited, so it's advisable to bring a small soft-sided bag or backpack. If you have larger luggage, you can store it at our base in Chalong and bring a smaller bag for your overnight stay. The beauty of sailing lies in its spontaneity; while we have planned stops, the itinerary can adapt to changing weather or the group's interests. Your skipper will always prioritize safety and make adjustments as necessary.

Day 2-6 Phang Nga Bay

Embark on your adventure by sailing into the breathtaking Phang Nga Bay, renowned for its dramatic limestone cliffs rising sharply from emerald waters—this stunning landscape has served as the backdrop for numerous films and is one of Thailand's most iconic treasures. Discover the secluded islands scattered across the bay and enjoy lunch at Koh Roi. Then, continue to Koh Phanak where you can hop into a kayak to explore the bays and canyons, uncovering inlets, caves, hidden lagoons, and local wildlife.

Next, dive into the underwater world by snorkeling off the beach at Koh Pak Bia, followed by a cruise to a secluded spot between Koh Klui and Koh Chang in the northeast of the bay. As evening falls, relax on a bean bag surrounded by turquoise waters, taking a moment to enjoy the sunset.

Koh Hong, situated between Koh Yao Noi and Krabi, is a true desert island, home only to gibbons, birds, and lizards. Its two pristine white sand beaches frame twin bays, and the island’s name, meaning ‘Room,’ hints at a tranquil lagoon tucked within. Here, you can explore sea caves by dinghy or kayak, and take a swim at a picturesque tropical beach. Whether you choose to snorkel among vibrant marine life or relax on deck with a good book and fresh fruit, the choice is yours.

Your day concludes at Railay Beach, a paradise flanked by towering limestone mountains. Enjoy a stunning sunset and dine at lively restaurants and bars nearby. Wake up to a beautiful morning at Railay Beach, then set sail to the Chicken Islands before heading to the much-celebrated Koh Phi Phi. This iconic destination features two islands connected by a sweeping arc of soft white sand, striking cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. The island attracts visitors with its colorful marine life, shops, bars, and energetic beach fire shows.

After a leisurely breakfast crafted by your onboard chef, hoist the anchor and sail north for some snorkeling at Nui Beach, where brightly colored fish swim close to you. Continue to the unspoiled Koh Yao Yai, where you'll find tranquil beaches fringed by mangroves, excellent snorkeling, lush forest trails, and kayaking options. It’s the perfect escape from the crowds to soak in the natural beauty and glimpse traditional island life.

As the evening arrives, gather on the beach for a BBQ, perhaps grilling some of the fresh catch from earlier in the day. Spend a relaxed night beside a fire pit while watching the sunset. The next day, set sail across the stunning azure waters toward Koh Racha. Known for its clear waters, this destination is ideal for snorkeling and is primarily inhabited by farmers and fishermen. You’ll have the option to engage in activities like kayaking or paddleboarding, or simply stroll across the island, passing coconut groves and grazing water buffalo, all while enjoying spectacular views. Later, dine at a local restaurant, savoring fragrant Thai dishes paired with a cold local brew before returning to the boat. You might choose to end your aquatic adventure by sleeping under the stars on the deck.

Day 7 Phuket

A pleasant sail takes you to your ultimate destination, Phuket Island, around noon. Enjoy one last opportunity to paddle, swim, and snorkel in the Andaman Sea, where you can observe vibrant schools of fish near the shore before arriving in Phuket. The island boasts stunning beaches along with a diverse selection of restaurants, hotels, bars, and shops, so consider extending your stay to experience everything it has to offer. This marks the conclusion of your Andaman seafaring adventure. Afterward, feel free to explore Phuket further or continue on your journey.
