You will receive a warm reception upon landing at Siem Reap International Airport. Your guide and driver will greet you at the airport and transport you to your downtown hotel. Explore the Artisans d’Angkor workshops, where you can witness traditional Khmer silk production, stone and wood carving, lacquering, and painting. Afterward, stroll through the old market and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Pub Street.
Start your day early with a transfer to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Angkor Temple. After returning to your hotel for breakfast, you'll continue your exploration of Angkor Wat, a grand temple complex built in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II as his state temple and capital city. Following breakfast, delve into the ruins, including the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the striking Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the Preah Khan temple. In the afternoon, marvel at the enchanting Ta Prohm temple, where fig and silk-cotton trees have interwoven with the temple’s towers. Conclude your day with a sunset view at the Preah Rup temple.
After breakfast, drive to Phnom Bok Mountain, constructed by King Yasovarman I in the late 9th to early 10th century. This site is one of three mountain temples built across the Angkor region. Enjoy a short trek to the summit for panoramic views of Angkor. Next, visit the Chres Village School and have a picnic in the village before exploring the Koh Ker temple, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire. For dinner, savor authentic local cuisine at a restaurant run by a welcoming Cambodian family.
Following breakfast, depart from Koh Ker to explore Beng Melea Temple, dating back to the early 11th century. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Next, visit the Pourk Monastery before heading back to your hotel to relax and refresh. In the evening, meet your guide again for an hour-long massage in town. Conclude the day with dinner at a local restaurant.
On your final day in Cambodia, we'll spend the morning exploring the Floating Village on Tonle Sap Lake. Enjoy a boat trip to observe daily life in the village, gaining insight into traditional riparian lifestyles and the natural beauty of the countryside.
