Experience a traditional blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks, wishing you happiness, prosperity, and safety. Conclude your day with a delightful dinner and Apsara Dance performance at a local restaurant.
Rise early to be transferred for a sunrise view over Angkor Temple. Return to your hotel for breakfast, then embark on a journey to explore Angkor Wat, the grand temple complex constructed in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II as his state temple and capital. After breakfast, continue to discover the ruins, including the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the Preah Khan Temple. In the afternoon, visit the remarkable Ta Prohm Temple, where fig and silk-cotton trees intertwine with the temple’s towers. Wrap up the day with a sunset view at Preah Rup Temple.
Leaving the city, we travel along a newly paved road to the beautifully detailed and well-preserved Banteay Srei Temple. Along the way, we'll stop at Preah Dark village before visiting the Banteay Samre Temple, known for its striking reliefs depicting scenes from Vishnu and Krishna legends. In the afternoon, explore the Roluos Group, which served as the capital during the reign of Indravarman I (877-889). Visit Preah Ko, built by Indravarman I in the late 9th century and dedicated to his ancestors in 880. Continue to Bakong, the largest and most significant temple in the Roluos Group, featuring an active Buddhist monastery near its east entrance. Finally, see Lolei, constructed by Yasovarman I on an islet in a large reservoir (now rice fields), marking the site of Angkor's first city.
On your final day in Cambodia, we'll spend the morning visiting the Floating Village on Tonle Sap Lake. Enjoy a boat ride to observe daily life within the village. Tonle Sap’s natural beauty provides a glimpse into traditional riverside living and the scenic countryside. Next, explore the Artisan Dangkor workshop before heading to the airport for your return flight. Safe travels, and thank you for choosing to journey with us.
