Upon your international arrival at Yangon airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and some time to refresh. In the afternoon, explore the bustling downtown area to experience Yangon's lively atmosphere and colonial architecture. Visit the impressive Reclining Buddha Image at Chaukhtetgyi and conclude the day with a visit to the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda, a masterpiece that dazzles with its stunning colors reflecting the sunset.

This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, explore Mandalay, renowned as the last royal capital and the heart of Myanmar's cultural heritage, traditions, arts, and crafts. Begin your journey with a visit to the Mahamuni Buddha Image and a workshop where gold leaf is meticulously crafted. Discover the artistry of sculptures, wood-carving, and traditional puppet-making.
In the evening, visit the renowned Golden Palace Monastery, the sole surviving structure of the Royal Palace, and marvel at the intricate architecture. Continue to Kuthodaw Pagoda, famous for housing the world's largest book inscribed on marble slabs. Conclude your day with a panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill, standing at 200 meters.

After enjoying breakfast, we will transfer to the jetty to embark on a local private boat bound for Mingun, situated 7 miles north of Mandalay. Crossing the Ayeyarwaddy River, you'll witness the vibrant river scenes with fishermen and bamboo barges. Upon arrival, stroll through the village, where we will visit the Pahtodawgyi Temple, known for its colossal unfinished pagoda and enormous bell, as well as the Mya Thein Dan Pagoda.
Next, we will continue our exploration with a visit to Ava, an ancient capital that was home to several Burmese kingdoms over five centuries. Crossing the river on a local ferry, we will reach the island of Ava and explore its historical sites by horse cart, including the teakwood Bagaya Kyaung monastery and the Me Nu Ok Kyaung monastery.
In the afternoon, we will visit Amarapura, the former capital preceding Mandalay, and gain insight into monastic life at the Maha Gandayon Monastery. Stroll along the iconic U Bein Wooden Bridge or take a canoe ride on Taungthaman Lake to witness the enchanting sunset and observe traditional fishing techniques.

During the low season (from April to September), travel overland from Mandalay to Bagan takes approximately 3.5 hours. Following breakfast, begin the scenic drive to Bagan, with an optional visit to a village along the route for those interested. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. The evening is free for leisure activities.
In the high season (from October to March), embark on the Alliance Myanmar River Cruise or RV Panorama from Mandalay to Bagan, an 8-hour journey. After breakfast, transfer to the jetty to board your chosen cruise vessel. Cruise along the Irrawaddy River, observing the lifestyle of villagers along the way. Arrive in Bagan by evening and transfer to your hotel.

Experience the enchantment of Oriental Ballooning with an early morning pickup from your hotel around 4:30 or 5 am. A bus will transport you to the launch site where you can witness the preparation of the balloons and receive a briefing from the pilot.
The exciting part of this adventure is the unpredictability of the landing location, determined solely by the wind's direction!
After your ballooning experience, return to your hotel by arranged transportation.

Later, visit Myinkabar Village, home to the Myingabar Gubyaukgyi Temple known for its mural paintings, as well as Manuha and Nan Phaya temples. Conclude your day at Sulamani Sunset Viewing Hill, offering an unparalleled view of the magnificent sunset over Bagan.

Start your morning with a visit to the vibrant Nyaung U Market, followed by stops at Shwezigone Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple known for its exquisite mural paintings, and Htilominlo Temple. Explore various temples near Min Nan Thu village and West Phwar-Saw village to observe the daily life of villagers.
In the late afternoon, continue your exploration with a horse cart ride to the impressive Dhammayangyi and Sulamani Temples, winding through a maze of ancient temples.
In the evening, enjoy a home-cooked dinner at a local residence in New Bagan.

Following breakfast, depart for the airport to catch a flight to Heho. From there, embark on a scenic car journey to Pindaya, passing through picturesque patchwork fields along the way. Arrive in the evening and explore the renowned Pindaya Cave, a natural cavern housing over eight thousand Buddha images. Witness the traditional craftsmanship of Shan paper and umbrella production, followed by a visit to Pindaya Lake where you can engage with local residents.
Next, proceed to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway to Inle Lake, celebrated for its natural beauty and traditional leg-rowing fishermen. Transfer to your hotel resort at Inle Lake via a 30-minute boat ride for check-in and relaxation.

Today, embark on a full-day boat excursion exploring the picturesque lake, nestled between towering hills on both sides. Explore the vibrant 5-day market, a bustling hub where hill tribes gather to trade their goods every five days. Visit floating villages and floating gardens, experience traditional fishing practices, and discover local arts and crafts. Explore the silk and lotus weaving techniques at Inbawkhone village, observe the art of cheroot making, and visit Ngephechaung Monastery renowned for its collection of Buddha images.
Note: For honeymooners traveling between 11th April and 14th October, indulge in a romantic boat lunch on the lake and a cooking class at Thahara Inle.

Following breakfast, embark on a boat excursion to explore the enchanting sights of Inle Lake. Discover floating villages and gardens, observe traditional fishing methods, and admire local arts and crafts. Visit a village market to witness the array of local products. Continue your journey to Indein village, where you can stroll through the mesmerizing Indein Pagoda complex nestled on a hillside, featuring over one thousand stupas. Traverse the scenic Indein canal during your visit. Conclude your day with a visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the revered pagoda of Shan State.
