After checking in, venture into the lively streets of the city with your guide for a tour. You'll visit Chaukhtatgyi, which features a magnificent reclining Buddha statue, as well as the renowned Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most revered Buddhist sites in Myanmar. This impressive 99-meter tall pagoda is adorned with gold leaf and surrounded by 64 smaller stupas. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure; you might like to explore the bustling streets and sample delicious street food. Overnight stay in Yangon.

Day 2 YANGON – BAGAN

Get ready for your pick-up from the reception as you head to the airport for a domestic flight to Bagan. This ancient city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated in Myanmar's Mandalay Region, lies along the banks of the Ayeyarwady River. Bagan is renowned for its archaeological area, which features over 2,000 Buddhist monuments rising above its lush plains. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by our guide, who will accompany you on a journey to discover this remarkable city. We will kick off our exploration at the bustling local market, where you can sample local delicacies and browse handmade products. Next, we’ll visit some of the most sacred temples in Bagan, including the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda, where you’ll gain insight into Bagan’s rich history. We'll also see the Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple adorned with beautiful jataka mural paintings, the Ananda Temple, known for its stunning architecture, and the Manuha Temple, which houses three seated Buddha images and one depicting Buddha entering Nirvana. To conclude our discoveries in Bagan, we’ll visit Bupaya Pagoda to enjoy the breathtaking sunset over the Ayeyarwady River. Overnight stay in Bagan.

Day 3 BAGAN – MANDALAY – PYIN OO LWIN

You will be transferred to Bagan Airport to catch your flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival at Mandalay Airport, our representative will be there to welcome you and assist with your transfer to Pyin Oo Lwin, known as “the City of Flowers.” On the way to your hotel, we’ll stop at Peik Chin Myaung Cave, a limestone cavern where local plants, known as Peik Chin, similar to long pepper vines, used to flourish at the cave's entrance. Additionally, we will visit Kandawgyi Botanical Garden in Pyin Oo Lwin. You’ll spend the night in Pyin Oo Lwin.

Day 4 PYIN OO LWIN – MANDALAY

Prepare for your journey to Mandalay. During our sightseeing tour, we’ll visit the most sacred shrine in the city, the Mahamuni Pagoda, which houses Myanmar’s most revered Buddha image. The seated Buddha, standing at 4 meters tall, has been adorned with so much gold leaf by visitors over the years that it now has a unique lumpy appearance. You’ll have the opportunity to enter the temple for an up-close view of the Mahamuni Buddha and spend some time wandering the temple grounds, immersing yourself in the spiritual ambiance. After our temple visit, we’ll explore local craftsmanship, including bronze-casting, marble-carving, wood-carving, and puppetry at the Craft Workshop. Following lunch (at your own expense), we’ll continue our exploration of Mandalay’s spiritual sites, starting with Shwenandaw Kyaung, the Golden Teak Monastery, renowned for its stunning wood carvings, then visiting Kyauktawgyi Paya and Kuthodaw Paya, famous for containing the world’s largest book. To conclude our sightseeing, we’ll ascend Mandalay Hill to admire the Shwe Kyin Old Monastery and witness a beautiful sunset over this sacred landscape. After returning to the hotel, you’ll have the rest of the day to enjoy at your leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 5 MANDALAY – MINGUN – SAGAING – AMARPURA – MANDALAY

Prepare for a one-hour boat ride along the Ayeyarwaddy River, heading towards Mingun, a charming riverside village near Mandalay. Our first stop will be Pahtodawgyi Phaya, home to the world’s largest uncracked bell, the Mingun Bell. After exploring Mingun, we’ll continue our journey by driving to Sagaing, crossing a long bridge over the Ayeyarwaddy River to reach Sagaing Hills. At the summit, you’ll find Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, a revered spiritual center in Myanmar, frequented by thousands of monks and nuns for meditation and reflection. We’ll also visit a silversmith workshop, where you can admire stunning jewelry. To conclude our day, we’ll enjoy the sunset over the picturesque Old U Bein teak wood bridge, which stretches across Taungthaman Lake near Amarapura.
