Once familiarized with the surroundings, embark on a short trek (2 kilometers) to the captivating Sung Cave and visit a tea plantation that boasts a history of a century. Be mindful that the trek includes some steep and slippery sections, so please ensure you have appropriate footwear for this activity. Following a handicraft workshop, return to your homestay for a rejuvenating hot shower and a delectable dinner.

In the morning, seize the opportunity to immerse yourself further in the Vietnamese highlands with a 10-kilometer trek from Sung Village to Da Bia. The initial 8 kilometers of the trek follow mostly flat terrain along well-trodden buffalo tracks. The last 2 kilometers feature a gradual incline, and for approximately 300 meters, there are some steps to climb. However, the walk maintains a steady and relaxed pace. Keep an eye out for the monumental stone at the peak of Da Bia Mountain during the hike, which traverses local villages, allowing encounters with people from the Muong ethnic tribe. Pause for lunch at Da Bia before indulging in a picturesque 1.5-hour boat cruise on the Hoa Binh hydropower reservoir.
