Day 2 Meet The Charming Capital Of Vietnam

Embark on a comprehensive exploration of a distinctive Asian metropolis characterized by tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, serene lakes, and ancient pagodas and temples that trace their roots back thousands of years.

Your guide will pick you up at your hotel between 8:00-8:45 am, commencing your journey with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh complex. This includes Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the final resting place of the revered Vietnamese leader, as well as Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, his residence and workplace from 1958 to 1969. The exploration continues at the Ho Chi Minh Museum, offering insights into his dedicated service to Vietnam. Proceed to Tran Quoc Pagoda, a Buddhist temple and national heritage situated on the shores of West Lake.

Next, visit the Ethnology Museum (applicable on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), providing a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups.

Savor lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a drive to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's inaugural university. Dating back to 1073, the temple venerates Confucius and Chu Van An, the headmaster of the Imperial College, symbolizing the profound moral philosophy and ethics inherent in Vietnamese education. Conclude your memorable visit to the Temple of Literature and return to Hoan Kiem Lake to explore Ngoc Son Temple and admire the Vietnamese and French architectural influences surrounding the lake. After the boat excursion, embark on a cycling journey through the serene village, winding through rice fields to discover the enchanting surroundings.
