Itinerary

Day 1 BANGKOK

Arrive at any time; your arrival transfer is included.

Day 2 Bangkok/Kanchanaburi

After enjoying breakfast, set off for Kanchanaburi, located at the meeting point of the Khwae Noi and Khwae Yai Rivers. Hop aboard a train for a scenic ride that delves into World War II history as you traverse the iconic bridge immortalized by the 1957 film The Bridge on the River Kwai. At the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, discover the story of the Burma Railway, built by Japanese forces to link Bangkok with Burma. Next, visit the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, where many prisoners of war who toiled on the railway are buried.

Day 3 Kanchanaburi/Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

This morning, embark on a hike through the verdant scenery of Erawan National Park, nestled in the misty Tenasserim Hills. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters of Erawan Falls, named for its upper tier that resembles Erawan, the three-headed elephant from mythology. In the afternoon, travel to the historic city of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, once the capital of the medieval Ayutthaya kingdom, formerly known as Siam. Savor traditional Thai cuisine during dinner on a renovated rice barge from the 1930s.

Day 4 Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya/Chiang Mai

In the Northern dialect, "Khantok" refers to a wooden tray, typically round and crafted from teak, used for serving dishes. Guests are welcomed to sit on the floor around the khantok for dinner. Following the meal, enjoy a tea time that offers a chance to engage with locals and gain insights into their way of life.

Day 5 Chiang Mai

Engaging in monk chats offers a valuable cultural exchange while also assisting young monks in enhancing their English skills.

Day 6 Chiang Mai

Spend the entire day discovering the temples and lush hills of Chiang Mai at your leisure, or select from a range of optional activities. Navigate the scenic backroads of Chiang Mai in a tuk-tuk, or consider a cycling tour through the lush rice fields and charming historic areas. In the evening, you might want to experience the lively night market of Chiang Mai.

Day 7 Chiang Mai/Bangkok

This morning, take a flight to Bangkok and hop aboard a traditional klong boat to explore the city's intricate canals, which have led to its nickname as the "Venice of the East." Glide past vibrant temples, towering skyscrapers, and homes built above the water. Stop at Wat Pho, the largest and oldest temple complex in Bangkok, often regarded as Thailand’s first public university, where many inscriptions were created to educate visitors. Be in awe of the impressive Reclining Buddha statue, adorned with gold leaf and mother-of-pearl.
