Upon your arrival in Bangkok, you'll be greeted and taken to your hotel. This evening, you’ll have the opportunity to meet your tour leader or local guide for welcome drinks and an overview of the upcoming tour.
This morning, we’ll explore the Grand Palace and the revered Emerald Buddha (Phra Kaeo). Next, we’ll visit the impressive 46-meter-long reclining Buddha located in Wat Pho, Bangkok's oldest and largest temple. We'll also experience a boat ride through the Thonburi canals to uncover a glimpse of the city's historic river life. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the National Museum, the largest in Southeast Asia. In the evening, you can enjoy the vibrant night markets and delightful dining options that Bangkok has to offer.
We embark on a journey to the renowned River Kwai region, known for its lush rainforests and the notable Kwai Noi River. Our first stop includes visits to poignant Allied War Cemeteries, followed by a ride on the notorious Death Railway as we cross the iconic Bridge over the River Kwai. We'll also explore the intriguing Hellfire Pass Museum before settling into our tranquil riverside resort.
Spend a day fully immersed in the beauty of this stunning National Park. We’ll ascend the seven levels of the park’s renowned waterfall, and if desired, we can take a refreshing dip in some of the pools along the way.
Today, we travel eastward to Ayuthaya, the historic ancient capital, where we will explore two of its most significant temples. Following our visit, we’ll proceed to Khao Yai National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife and as one of Thailand’s earliest national parks. As the sun sets, we’ll have the opportunity to witness hundreds of bats emerging from their caves in search of food.
Today, we embark on a jungle trek to discover the park's diverse wildlife. Along the way, we'll learn about the unique plants and trees, and how the locals utilize them. In the evening, take part in a night safari drive to observe more wildlife. With some luck, we might even catch a glimpse of one of Khao Yai's wild elephants.
This morning, we journey back to Bangkok by road and catch a short flight to Chiang Mai, the cultural heart of northern Thailand. Known for its over 100 monasteries, excellent shopping, and delightful restaurants, Chiang Mai offers plenty to explore. The afternoon is yours to either unwind at your hotel or venture out into the city.
Today, we embark on a scenic exploration of historic Chiang Mai via samlor, visiting two of the city's most renowned temples. Our journey also includes a stop at the Chiang Mai Art and Cultural Centre. The evening is yours to wander and discover the vibrant night market at your leisure.
This morning, we start the day early with birdwatching at the scenic Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary, located near the historic Chiang Dao caves. Tonight, we will stay at Khum Lanna, a charming boutique lodge that is part of a wonderful community-run initiative, known for its exceptional food.
Today, we make our way back to Chiang Mai and catch a flight to the stunning southern region of Thailand. Known for its pristine beaches, the South offers a completely different experience from the mountains and hill tribes of the North. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel in Phuket, where you'll have free time to explore the island and its famous beaches.
This morning, we depart for Khao Sok National Park, where we’ll stay at an incredible tented camp. Here, we’ll discover the deep bond between elephants and their mahouts, followed by an exciting elephant ride. After a delicious lunch, we embark on a canoe journey, gliding past the breathtaking limestone karst formations that make this park so unique. Tonight, relax in the comfort of our luxurious safari tent.
Today is dedicated to exploring the breathtaking Cheo Larn Lake in Khao Sok National Park. You'll have the chance to swim and take in the beauty of the many islands scattered across the lake. We might also explore some caves before heading back to camp for the evening.
This morning presents a chance to venture into the jungle on foot, observing wildlife, plants, trees, insects, and birds. After lunch, we bid farewell to this incredible camp and make our way back to Phuket for our last night.
Today, you'll be taken to the airport to continue your onward journey.
