PM: Cu Chi Tunnels Venture 60km from Ho Chi Minh City to the renowned Cu Chi Tunnels, now a must-visit destination for both Vietnamese and foreign tourists. This extensive network of over 200km of tunnels played a crucial role during the war, functioning as underground cities with trap doors, living areas, storage facilities, factories, hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. As you travel through the serene rice paddy scenery, it is hard to believe the area's turbulent past of destruction caused by bombings and mines. Then, proceed to the Ethnology Museum, where you can delve into the diverse cultures of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. At 13.00, take a break and savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Hanoi's Old Quarter. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, a historic temple founded in 1070 dedicated to Confucius, sages, and scholars, serving as Vietnam's first university. Enjoy welcome drinks and an itinerary briefing, followed by a delicious lunch of local Vietnamese dishes before checking in to the hotel. 14:30: Embark on a downhill hike to Cat Cat Village, nestled at the bottom of Muong Hoa Valley. Admire the spectacular views of the valley with a backdrop of Fansipan, the highest peak in Vietnam and Indochina. Trek through Y Linh Ho, a village of the Black H'mong, and continue your adventure through lush rice terraces to reach Lao Chai village. Immerse yourself in the daily life and traditional culture of the Black H'mong community. 11:30: Arrive in Ta Van village, home to the Tay minority, which bears a strong influence from Chinese culture. Take a bus back to Sapa. 14:30: Enjoy some free time in Sapa for refreshments. 15:15: Board the bus for the return journey to Hanoi. 21:15: Arrive back in Hanoi. The tour concludes.
