Upon your arrival in Hanoi, our experienced guides will warmly welcome you at the airport and transfer you to our first hotel. Take some time to relax and freshen up before joining your new travel family for a delightful dinner at one of our favorite spots, possibly even enjoying some local beer on beer street to set the tone for the adventure ahead.
Begin the day with an informative orientation, providing you with essential information about activities and the exciting itinerary ahead. Embark on a captivating walking tour of Hanoi, visiting local markets, the famous Hoan Kiem Lake, Bamboo street, and hidden alleyways known only to the locals. Conclude the day with a traditional water puppet show, followed by a delicious local buffet.
Bid farewell to the bustling capital as we head to the extraordinary Ha Long Bay. Board our traditional junk boat and cruise through the enchanting emerald waters adorned with towering limestone cliffs. Enjoy kayaking, swimming, and relaxation on the beach. Get ready for the overnight train experience!
Welcome to Hue, the former capital of Vietnam, where you'll be staying for the next four nights. After a comfortable rest and breakfast from the overnight train, we'll introduce you to the best of this historical city before embarking on our volunteer project the following day. Enjoy a delightful ride in a three-wheeled rickshaw, explore the renowned Imperial Citadel, visit the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, and end the day with a tranquil sunset cruise back to your hotel by a charming dragon boat.
It's time to make a difference! Embrace the spirit of giving back as we collaborate with a prominent NGO in Hue for three impactful days. Roll up your sleeves and engage in community development projects that truly matter. Our initiatives include building essential toilets for families, establishing sustainable chicken farms and pens, and providing valuable education to the community on food security and creating a stable income for the future. Today, we embark on a captivating journey to Hoi An, taking the renowned Hai Van Pass - a winding road offering breathtaking panoramic views. Weather permitting, we'll pause at a secluded waterfall and a picturesque lagoon for a delightful lunch with a view. Arriving at our charming boutique hotel, just a short stroll from the heart of Hoi An, the lantern town awaits.
Begin the day with a tranquil boat cruise, leading us to the lush coconut kingdom. Gliding through the coconut groves in traditional bamboo baskets, we'll then travel by electric cars to the Tra Qua Vegetable Village. One of the highlights of our journey, a traditional cooking class awaits, allowing you to master the art of crafting delicious Vietnamese delicacies.
Today is all yours to explore the captivating Hoi An old quarter. Wander amidst the charming yellow buildings, visit boutiques, tailor shops, and quaint coffee spots. You have a multitude of options for your free day: a scenic cycle down to An Bang beach, a chance to craft your own lantern, or even an optional trip to the famous Golden Hand Bridge in Da Nang. In the evening, we gather for a final group meal, bidding farewell to those not joining our 5 Day Bolt On to the south.
