Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before continuing our exploration of Hanoi in the afternoon. On Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, we'll visit the Ethnology Museum, where you can learn about the diversity of Vietnam's ethnic groups and their cultural traditions. We'll then visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, the first university of Vietnam, established in 1070. The picturesque gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a glimpse into Vietnam's illustrious past. As we move towards the end of our tour, we'll visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, which are among the most beautiful and peaceful spots in Hanoi. 7:15-7:45 am Our friendly guide and experienced driver will pick you up from your hotel in the charming Old Quarter of Hanoi and journey southwards for 110 km towards the picturesque province of Ninh Binh. As you reach your destination, the first stop will be Hoa Lu, a historical relic site that boasts two temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh Le, their sons, and the Queen. You will be fascinated by the story behind Hoa Lu's designation as the capital of Vietnam in the late ninth century. At midday, indulge in an authentic Vietnamese lunch served at a top-notch local restaurant that caters to all your culinary desires. Afterward, hop on a small sampan and embark on an unforgettable 1.5-hour boat trip along the stunning Tam Coc waterways, also known as "three caves." You will witness the breathtaking views of majestic limestone cliffs and explore mysterious caves. 7:30 – 9:00 am: Our shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a scenic drive to Tuan Chau Marina. 12:00 – 12:30 pm: As you step aboard the cruise, you will be greeted by the captain and crew with a warm welcome drink. After checking into your cabin, take some time to refresh and unwind before savoring a delicious lunch as we sail towards the breathtaking Halong Bay. The first destination of the day is the stunning Surprise Cave - a majestic cavern in Halong Bay that boasts thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. Explore its intricate formations and immerse yourself in the natural wonder of the cave.
