Later in the afternoon, we will gather for a group meeting in the hotel foyer (time specified in your final documents). For groups with six or more participants, a dedicated guide will accompany you throughout the journey. Smaller groups will be guided by knowledgeable locals in each region. After the meeting, we embark on a delightful stroll, passing by the iconic Ly Thai To square, named after the founder of Hanoi, and meandering along the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake to reach the vibrant old quarter. <span> Day 2 </span>Hoa Binh Discovery - Boat Ride and Cycling to Mai Hich

After an invigorating early breakfast, we gather at the bike depot to prepare for our thrilling ride. Our journey begins with a transfer to Hoa Binh, a captivating province belonging to the Muong ethnic community, nestled amidst the picturesque mountains. Along the way, we are greeted by the mesmerizing Da River reservoir, embraced by lush jungle-covered peaks. Enjoy a leisurely hour-long crossing, marveling at the breathtaking scenery. Upon disembarking, we indulge in a delectable lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on our cycling adventure towards Mai Hich. Initially, we face a moderately steep 4km uphill ride to exit the reservoir's foothills and rejoin the main road. The following 20km stretch unfolds on flat roads, leading us into the enchanting Mai Chau mountainous region. Here, we enter the realm of the White Thai ethnic group, a vast valley adorned with verdant rice fields, charming stilted houses, and encircled by majestic limestone mountains. Upon disembarkation, we journey to Hanoi, where we embark on a brief sightseeing tour of the city's prominent landmarks, including the gardens of the Presidential Palace within the Ho Chi Minh complex and the revered Temple of Literature. After a satisfying dinner, we head to the train station to experience an authentic overnight train journey, an essential aspect of long-distance travel in Vietnam and an opportunity to immerse ourselves in local culture.
