The initial stretch may present some challenging climbs and thrilling river crossings, but the breathtaking vistas of the valley, rice terraces, rainforests, and meandering streams from the elevated viewpoints make it all worthwhile. A delightful picnic lunch awaits you at Hin Village, before continuing our journey to Hieu Village, renowned for its remarkable rural beauty, captivating all who visit. Finally, we'll arrive at Kho Muong Village, granting you the freedom to explore the surroundings, interact with locals, or simply unwind in the eco homestay, thoughtfully established by FFI (Flora and Fauna International) in collaboration with the local communities. A 12-15 km trek.

After a delightful breakfast, we'll drive to the captivating Cuc Phuong National Park in Ninh Binh province. Our first stop will be the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, dedicated to rescuing rare primates. Witness over 140 individuals and 100 offspring from 15 different gibbon, languor, and Loris species, thriving under the center's care. Next, we'll explore the Prehistoric People Cave, which once sheltered ancient humans 7500 years ago. The second part of the cave, renowned for its 19 bat species, will be a fascinating torch-lit adventure for you. The third part unveils a mesmerizing display of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. After a satisfying lunch, we'll embark on a rewarding 2.5-hour trek to encounter a majestic 1000-year-old tree. This trek offers you insights into diverse tree and plant species, as well as opportunities to spot fascinating wildlife. A 5-7 km hike.

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast before we journey to Ninh Binh. Upon arrival, we'll take a leisurely stroll through picturesque open rice fields and the charming village of Ninh Xuan, immersing ourselves in the knowledge of agriculture and rice cultivation. Next, we'll embark on a serene boat ride along the enchanting Ngo Dong River. The Ngo Dong River offers a tranquil and captivating experience, particularly when gliding on a local rowboat. During the two-hour excursion, we'll traverse the mesmerizing Thung Nang cave system, with its stunning stalactites, and be surrounded by breathtaking karst scenery. In the afternoon, we'll cycle through the mesmerizing landscape of Trang An, known for its craggy limestone formations and emerald-green waters. This area, recognized by UNESCO, is adorned with charming tiny villages, lush paddy fields, temples, and scenic hiking trails. As we explore, we'll be embraced by the warmth and hospitality of the local people. After lunch with a local family, we'll embark on a leisurely hike through open rice fields, allowing us to deepen our understanding of agriculture and rice cultivation. Dinner and overnight stay in Ninh Binh.

After breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to Cat Ba Island, passing through Cat Hai Port and the bustling Hai Phong city. Upon reaching Cat Ba Island, we'll savor a delicious lunch before commencing an invigorating trek through the national park. In the afternoon, we'll venture to Viet Hai Village, an enchanting haven for birdwatching and sightseeing amidst the pristine forest and Frog Lake. Along the trail, be on the lookout for native cats, squirrels, spotted deer, snakes, thousands of butterflies, and, if we're fortunate, one of the rare Cat Ba Langurs. Completing the day's adventure, we'll relish a delightful dinner and spend the night in a charming bungalow within the local village of Viet Hai. A 10-12 km trek.

Enjoy breakfast at 07:30 before embarking on a scenic walk to the peak of Marine Hill, offering breathtaking panoramic views of both Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Upon returning to Viet Hai Village, you can opt for a relaxing fish massage or simply unwind in the serene surroundings. Later, we'll cycle to Viet Hai Harbor, where you'll board a boat to explore the captivating beauty of Lan Ha Bay. Lunch will be served onboard as we set out for a kayaking excursion around Hang Luon Cave. If the weather permits, we'll have the opportunity to visit stunning wild beaches, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. We'll conclude the day with a delightful dinner onboard before spending the night on the boat.

As the sun rises, relish a delightful breakfast onboard amidst the mesmerizing scenery of Lan Ha Bay, surrounded by the majestic limestone peaks. Continue your cruise, exploring the charming fish and shellfish farm and the vibrant floating village of Cai Beo. Lunch will be served onboard (or on land if new passengers are waiting to embark). At approximately 11:30, disembark and commence your journey back to Hanoi, concluding your unforgettable tour of Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island.
