In the morning, you'll be picked up at your hotel for a city tour of Hanoi's iconic landmarks. Start your day with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you'll learn about the final resting place of Uncle Ho and its architectural and historical significance. Next, visit the nearby stilt house where Ho Chi Minh lived and the One Pillar Pagoda, a revered symbol of Hanoi founded in 1049. Continuing on, visit the Tran Quoc Pagoda located on the peaceful West Lake, considered one of Vietnam's oldest pagodas. If it's a Monday, Wednesday or Friday, you'll also have the opportunity to visit Bat Trang pottery village. Your lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Ethnology Museum, showcasing Vietnam's diverse ethnic groups (open on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday), the Literature Temple, and Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam's first university founded in 1070. At 7:15-7:45 am, your experienced driver and knowledgeable tour guide will pick you up at your hotel located in the Old Quarter Area of Hanoi. Embark on a 110 km journey south of Hanoi, which takes approximately 2 hours, to reach Ninh Binh. The first stop on your itinerary is Hoa Lu, where you will visit two temples constructed to honor the emperors Dinh Le, their sons, and the Queen. Through this visit, you will learn about why Hoa Lu was established as the capital of Vietnam in the late ninth century. At noon, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring delicious traditional cuisine. After lunch, board a small sampan to visit Tam Coc, which means "three caves" and is a 1.5-hour boat trip. Tam Coc offers stunning views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as serene countryside landscapes like peaceful streams, rice paddies, and deserted green fields. You will breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the peaceful moments, while photo enthusiasts will relish the stunning scenery. Next, arrive at Mua Cave and embark on an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain, where you will witness a spectacular rice valley with expansive views of nature. 7:30 – 9:00 am: Our shuttle bus will collect you from your hotel. 12:00 – 12:30 pm: Arriving at Tuan Chau Marina, you will receive a warm welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain and crew, and join us for a refreshing welcome drink as we share with you about life onboard. After checking into your cabin, take some time to refresh and unwind before being served a delicious lunch while we cruise towards Ha Long Bay. Explore the breathtaking Surprising Cave, one of the most magnificent grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. Next, we will take you to Titov Island where you can swim, climb to the top of the island, and enjoy the best view of Halong Bay in the summertime. Alternatively, in the wintertime, you can visit a floating Pearl Farm Village and learn about the techniques for making high-quality pearls. Continuing our cruise to a tranquil area, you can relax and take in the beautiful seascape on the way.
