Explore Vietnam’s captivating ancient sites and rich history on a 10-day journey through heritage sites. Starting in Hanoi, the capital city, venture along the east coast to uncover historical treasures, sun-kissed beaches, ancient palaces, traditional markets, and the breathtaking beauty of Halong Bay.
Upon your arrival in Hanoi, our team will warmly welcome you at the airport and provide private transfer to your hotel in the city center. Enjoy your free time to relax and unwind as you begin your exciting 10-day journey through Vietnam's World Heritage Sites. Dinner will be at your own leisure, and you will spend the night at your hotel in Hanoi.
After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, we will commence our exploration of Hanoi city. At 8.00 - 8.30 AM, our friendly guide will pick you up for a fascinating journey. Our first stop is Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century, situated on the serene Golden Fish Island in West Lake. Next, at 9.30 AM, we will visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, where you can witness the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh. You will also get the chance to stroll through the beautiful garden and see the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Our tour continues to the unique One Pillar Pagoda, a place of worship for the Goddess of Mercy. Please remember to dress modestly, covering from shoulders to knees, when visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, and pagodas. Please note that the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. Additionally, it remains closed for at least two months (15th June - 15th August) annually for maintenance, but you can still take photos and explore the surrounding area. At 11.15 AM, we will visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the diverse cultures of the country's 54 ethnic groups. Special Note: On Mondays, we will visit the Women's Museum instead of the Ethnology Museum. By 12.45 PM, we will enjoy a delicious Vietnamese cuisine lunch at our restaurant. Afterward, at 2.00 - 2.15 PM, we will proceed to the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam, established in the 11th century. At 3.15 PM, we will head to the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, also known as the "Hanoi Hilton." Originally used by the French colonists for political prisoners during Indochina, later it housed U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. By 4.15 - 4.30 PM, our tour concludes, and we will transfer you back to your hotel. Dinner will be on your own, and you will spend the night at your hotel in Hanoi.
In the morning, at 7:30 - 8:00 AM, our friendly guide will pick you up for an exciting journey to Ninh Binh province. By 9:15 AM, we will take a short break of 15 - 20 minutes to relax and refresh. At 10:30 AM, we will visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties from 968 to 1010. Here, you will delve into the rich history of Vietnam's feudal system. By 11:45 AM, it's time for a delightful buffet lunch at a local restaurant, offering an array of local delicacies such as goat meat, fish, chicken, fried rice, and more. Vegetarian options are also available. At 1:00 PM, we will explore Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014. Trang An boasts a magnificent tunnel cave system, and it was even chosen as a filming location for the movie "Kong: Skull Island" in 2016. During the 2-hour boat trip, you will be mesmerized by the breathtaking beauty of this place. At 3:00 PM, the adventure continues with a 45-minute cycling tour around the village, providing an insight into the daily life of the local people. By 3:45 PM, we will return to the Limousine Bus and proceed to Mua Cave, also known as Dancing Cave. Climbing almost 500 steps, you will reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain, where a magnificent panoramic view of Tam Coc awaits you. At 5:00 PM, we will board the bus for the return journey to Hanoi. By 7:00 PM, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi. Dinner will be on your own, and you will spend the night at your hotel in Hanoi.
At 8:30 AM, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for an exciting trip to Halong Bay. By 10:15 AM, we will take a short 20-minute break to relax during the journey. At 12:00 PM, we will arrive at Halong Harbor. By 12:30 PM, you will be warmly welcomed aboard the cruise. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink and receive a brief introduction about the cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in to your air-conditioned room. At 1:00 PM, indulge in a delightful lunch featuring traditional Vietnamese dishes as we cruise through the magnificent Halong Bay, marveling at the mesmerizing rock formations scattered throughout the bay. Afternoon Itinerary: By 3:00 PM, we will visit the Sung Sot Cave, also known as the Surprising Cave. At 4:00 PM, the cruise will take you to Titop/Soi Sim Island, renowned for its picturesque viewpoint at the peak, offering splendid panoramic views of Halong Bay. Alternatively, you can enjoy a refreshing swim on the romantic sandy beach. By 5:30 PM, return to the cruise and unwind in your room. Relax on the sundeck, and witness the magical sunset while sipping a cocktail or reading a book in this enchanting moment. At 6:00 PM, participate in the Welcome Sunset Party and Cooking Class. Learn how to make fresh noodle rolls and savor the delicious outcome. Evening Relaxation: At 7:00 PM, have a romantic dinner while gazing out of the sea-view window. Delight in a delicious breakfast. At 7:40 AM, embark on a visit to Halong Bay Pearl Farm. Discover the renowned pearls of Halong, a process that takes years of farming and retrieving. By 8:30 AM, engage in a kayaking adventure in Halong Bay, exploring its beauty at your own pace. At 10:00 AM, check-out from the cruise and enjoy a splendid journey on the bay. By 10:45 AM, relish a delightful lunch as we cruise back to Halong Harbor. At 12:00 PM, we return to Halong Bay harbor, bid farewell to the sailors, and conclude the cruise. By 12:30 PM, board the Bus for the return journey to Hanoi. At 2:30 PM, take a short break on the way. By 3:30 PM, arrive at your hotel in Hanoi. After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Hanoi airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival at Danang airport, you will be picked up and transferred to Hoi An. Check-in at your hotel and enjoy lunch at your leisure. At 3:00 PM, our guide will meet you at the hotel in Hoi An center to start the Hoi An City Tour. The journey begins with a visit to Hoi An Market, a bustling and vibrant place offering an unmissable shopping experience with a plethora of sights, colors, sounds, and smells. Next, we will explore the Hoi An Old Town. We'll visit the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a mesmerizing blend of vibrant gates, dragon statues, and intricate rooftops. Learn about ancestor worship, watch local devotees making offerings, and delve into the cultural significance of the place. During the tour, we will also visit well-preserved old houses like Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House, showcasing the resilience of their 200-year-old structures. Discover the intriguing history of the prosperous merchants who once resided here and traded with people from around the world. Don't miss the iconic Japanese Bridge, connecting the Japanese and Chinese communities over 400 years ago. Admire the exquisite carvings and paintings inside the bridge and learn about their symbolic significance. In addition, we will explore Hoi An's handicraft shops and art galleries, gaining a deeper appreciation for the city's charm while strolling through local neighborhoods. After breakfast at the hotel, our minivan and tour guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby between 7:30 am to 8:00 am. We will then head to Ba Na Hills via the most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia. As we ascend, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Quang Nam - Danang City from a high vantage point at Dream Stream Cable Car Station. Once we reach Ba Na Hills, the first stop is the famous Golden Bridge, known for its exotic and remarkable architecture, recognized as the world's most prominent pedestrian bridge by the British Guard newspaper. In addition to the Golden Bridge, we will visit other attractions, including the France wine cellar, Le Jardin D’amourn (consisting of 9 gardens), and Linh Ung Pagoda. Next, we'll take the second Cable Car to explore the French Village, where you can enjoy street music, admire art statues, and visit various landmarks like Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, Tombstone Temple, and Square Du Dome. For adventure enthusiasts, there are exciting rides to challenge, including the Slide of Tube Car and Roller Coaster. Lunch will be served at the restaurant with a buffet offering a variety of delicious dishes. After lunch, we will take the Lava Train from Sun Kingdom to discover new attractions like Helios Waterfall, Time Gate, and The Moon Kingdom. Between 7:00 am to 7:30 am, our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel reception in Hoi An and gather guests in Da Nang from 8:00 am to 8:30 am. Embark on a captivating journey to Hue, traversing one of the world's most scenic coastal roads, the Hai Van Pass, or opt for the Hai Van Tunnel road. A 30-minute stop at the peak and 5 - 10 minutes to capture photos at Lap An Lagoon, a highlight of the picturesque Lang Co sea, will be enjoyed. At 11:00 am, we visit the grand Khai Dinh Tomb, an architectural marvel. Lunchtime at 12:30 pm offers a delightful treat of Hue-style dishes at a Local Specialty Restaurant. In the afternoon: By 1:30 pm, we continue to explore Hue's main attraction, The Imperial Citadel, an iconic historical site. At 3:00 pm, we marvel at the beauty of Thien Mu Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Hue. By 4:00 pm, we commence our return journey to Da Nang/Hoi An. The Hue Imperial Tour concludes with an estimated arrival time of approximately 6:00 pm in Da Nang or 7:00 pm in Hoi An. Dinner on your own and overnight stay at the hotel in Hoi An.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. At 9:00 am, our knowledgeable local guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby and transfer you to the picturesque Cam Thanh village. By 9:30 am, you will arrive at Cam Thanh village, either by car or boat. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with local fishermen, immersing yourself in their daily lives. At 10:00 am, embark on a fascinating bamboo basket boat ride through the Cam Thanh water coconut forest, while our guide shares the historical significance of the area. At 11:00 am, you will be thrilled to join local fishermen in river activities, trying your hand at round net and cast net fishing. Paddle the traditional Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and participate in a lively basket boat race. Discover the tranquil coconut waterways, once the backdrop of a bygone war, and even try your hand at crab-catching. Head back to the fisherman's house for a refreshing welcome drink and a delectable lunch. By 1:00 pm, proceed to Hoi An city and continue to the remarkable My Son Sanctuary - a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. At 2:30 pm, arrive at My Son Sanctuary, where you will have two hours to explore the site, guided by our English-speaking local expert. Enjoy traditional Champa performances while learning about the area's rich history. By 4:30 pm, return to the minivan and proceed to the wharf for a delightful boat trip back to Hoi An. Savor the serene river ambiance and capture charming sunset views along the majestic Thu Bon River. At 6:00 pm, we arrive in Hoi An, and our guide will drop you off at your hotel. Dinner on your own and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Hoi An.
